PookeyGW
What are the pros for Promotions, specifically Rebel promotions?
Deft Aklin
You can only save up up to 10x your rank cost. Therefore, if you were a corporal, you could only save 4,000 FPs. Also, you get more FPs the higher your rank.

Rado
Sorry isn’t it. 2. Lance Corporal 3. Corporal...??? I was a Lance Corporal before a Corporal, what I am still. But that special abilities do you get the further up the command you go? I don't think I got anymore-special abilities or anything extra added or anything cheaper costs since Lance corporal when you are aloud to buy Rebel Troopers? So I guess what I am asking is why go any higher on the chain of command?
Jan Gaarni
Yes, they got the order wrong, unless Reaps got it wrong that is. But I do know they got some ranks in the wrong order. This is how the list should look like for the Empire: Non-Commissioned Personnel: 1. Private 2. Lance Corporal 3. Corporal 4. Sergeant 5. Staff Sergeant 6. Staff Corporal 7. Warrant Officer II 8. Master Sergeant 9. Sergeant Major 10. Warrant Officer I Officers: 11. Second Lieutenant 12. Lieutenant 13. Captain 14. Major 15. Lt. Colonel 16. Colonel 17. High Colonel 18. Brigadier 19. Major-General 20. Lt. General 21. General 22. High General 23. Surface Marshal Surface Marshall is the highest you can get in the army in-game. After that, atleast in the Empire, you have: 24. Moff 25. Grand Moff 26. Supreme Moff (potential rank created around the Battle of Yavin, but no person had yet received a promotion to such a position, and we know of noone being appointed to one) 27. Grand General (same level as the Grand Admiral) 28. Emperor, or nominated executor or proxy. NOTE: Noncommissioned personnel does not wear rank badges. -=ReApEr=-
Actually if you get higher you get discount off faction items. If you reach the highest rank, then you get 50% off all items.
Ryre Solos
I wasn't aware that there was a commissoned/non commissioned ranking system. I am only familar with one, non-com... Hm. Care to Elaborate? Or is this non-game related?
Jan Gaarni
For the players, I don't know how it is. But for the NPC's, they follow this as far as I can see, atleast for the imperial military. Basically, the list is taken from Star Wars.
