I don't think deadworm was saying anything negative about non-remake amateur adventures in general. After going through this whole thread, I think the concern was more about poorly made remakes ruining or not living up to the reputation of their retail counterparts. I've got a feeling your current project has nothing to worry about.

Well, I only ever played one non-remake amateur, and I really liked "earwig is angry."

I suppose 'serious' and 'quality' could be taken any way though.

I consider Pleughburgh (sp) (seriously, I can never remember how to spell it) to be a damn good amateur game, but some people probably wouldn't, considering the primitive graphics.
