You can use Seikan's model for the cannon-fodder, their just ground troops, anyway.

Anyway, as for the cannon-fodder, remember the Clone Wars episode where Captain Rex, and Commander Cody help recapture a base. In that episode Captain Rex tells Fives, "Well, it looks like we have a couple of shinies!"

Fives, "Shinies, sir?"

Captain Rex, "That's right, your armor is shiny and new, just, like you."

That's how I want their armor to look, unpainted, and well maintained.
