GIMP is a good thing. Especially since nowadays you can't always afford oil paint.

You could go to the GIMP website and show them all of it's applications. You could also tell them that it would be good for expressing your creative side. It's known that people who are able to actively stimulate there creative sides tend to get better grades. It'll also be a way to keep busy with all the awesome effects on it.

GIMP is a free downloadable program. Get it.

I used the desaturate tool in GIMP to remove all colors then added in my own.

It was a picture of Boba Fett I found on the Star Wars wiki.
