  1. Lemmy is in the game, 10/10. But seriously, it’s a decent game, amazing soundtrack, excellent cast. The RTS is ok, not my cup of tea. Although the final RTS battle was way too difficult, it echoed the Meat Circus in Psychonauts for me.
  2. I think they’re doing more marketing than Dial of Destiny ever did
  3. It’s amazing that 25+ years later there’s still new details that I am learning about this game.
  4. I wonder if Doug Lee is still available…
  5. The voice acting for Marcus Brody is the most spot on. This looks to have everything I would want in an Indy game, I’m feeling optimistic about it.
  6. This is incredible, I am so excited to see how it all turns out. I have the Rune Realms album of Fate of Atlantis but this feels so grounded into the game that I am reliving it. I would love a place like this to just discuss favorite video game music. They’re my favorite instrumental tracks to just vibe out to.
  7. Ok I finally finished it. My new rankings are: 1. MI1 2. ReMI 3. CMI (honestly the first 3 rankings are all a toss-up) 4. TMI 5. MI2 6. LMI 7. EMI
  8. If you told me 20 years ago that I would get to play in a fully immersive 3D environment in the world of Monkey Island it would’ve been my dream come true. BUT…If you also told me 20 years ago that Disney would end up owning the Monkey Island franchise and release a game with Guybrush I think I’d break my brain comprehending the entire thing.
  9. Really well done, there’s a lot of new information that I have learned from the developers of the game. Bob Mackey also did reviews of all the Lucasarts games for the Retronauts podcast, and I highly recommend those as well.
  10. I just ordered an ebook copy and have been reading the PDF of the book, not the best solution but it’s working for me.
  11. Started it up - love it so far. Just curious if there is a method of saving the game. I got disconnected and lost all my progress.
  12. my definitive Indiana Jones ranking: 1. Raiders 2. Last Crusade 3. Fate of Atlantis 3. Dial of Destiny 4. Crystal Skull 5. Infernal Machine 6. Temple of Doom 7. Emperors Tomb 8. Temple of the Forbidden Eye at Disneyland 9. Nearly episode of Young Indy 10. The Monkey King script 11. The specific episode of young Indy with Harrison Ford playing a saxophone Rock bottom of the list: the piano crane level in Staff of Kings
  13. Your guide was the only way I could find my way out of Castle Brunwald.
  14. I’m excited to return to monkey island!… again
  15. I liked crystal skull, or almost anything Indy (sorry young indy chronicles). It’s nothing short of amazing that we’re got a new Monkey Island games and a new Indiana Jones movie in the span of one year.
