    i make an effort to get through it every 4 or so years. last year (my third attempt) was easily my most successful one. i suspect I got through 40% of the game. in the past, i'd bounce at the first RTS segment. still can't finish it though. I like everything about it conceptually. playing it is a whole other issue.

    i'm glad they added this episode. the series (while amazing) really needed this kind of closure - specifically talking about the impact the making of this game had on the people and DF's culture. also a nice bookend to the first episode of the series which had Tim recount the learnings of the first Psychonauts.

    i'm wondering if Baker's VO from the reveal was a work in progress? his take on Indy feels way more natural in this latest trailer. way less like his normal speaking voice. either way, can't wait.

    yoda stories (game boy color cover) was robbed, btw. otherwise great list!

    played it on the Xbox some time ago. was really surprised how much content there was. its very much Monkey Island through the lens of Sea of Thieves, versus a full-fledge 3D adventure game, but I still enjoyed walking around the world in 3D. Also SoT is great fun if you get a solid crew.

    looks like color fade at the top of the box. wonder how much it would cost for a copy with all color intact?

    count me in for team written. that said, very happy to hear this is becoming a podcast. that will be my preferred way of consuming these interviews. edit: in fact, i just subscribed via Apple Podcasts!

    so either the tracking information is not updating, or my package hasn't shipped yet. hoping for the former, the one other time I ordered from LRG my order was lost in shipping. thankfully they were able to find another copy to send me. edit: crisis averted. it has arrived.

    looks great. appreciate this being first-person versus getting lost in the pool of third-person Tomb Raider/Uncharted-like games. not loving Troy Baker tho. he's officially become gaming's Chris Pratt (until Chris Pratt becomes gaming's Chris Pratt).

    amusingly, Tim now works for the parents company. that said, i agree. i'm guessing Rare wanted to do their own thing since it's within their established world - so it needs to somewhat fit.

    i'd get if they reached out to him and he said he wasn't interested. but it really does seem like Disney only wanted him for the "sequel," and nothing else. hell, they didn't even reach out to have him contribute (in any way) to the Maniac Mansion re-release via LRG.
