Hey,

the holidays are over, and I'm feeling cranky. My mod is still a few weeks away from being done, which I don't like at all. I was hoping I would finish it in December, but thanks to the clear sky, I spent much of my free time outside. So that plan got blown away as fast as the clouds in early December. Yes, I was hoping for bad weather. It may sound crazy, but I can't do anything on my PC if the sun shines outside - even if I want to. I find myself looking through the window more often than looking into my monitor. The best time for modding and gaming is during the night - everything just feels calmer then. The only bad thing about night is that it ends too soon. Hey, a high quality skin can take up to 12 hours or more to make, which I'm sure you know. Speaking of skins, how goes your new skin pack,? I'm really impressed with some of the skins.

Anyway, that's all for now. Thanks for reading through my boring rant.

Nah, I didn't move (it's too beautiful here ), but I do have a new job which requires me to travel (most around Europe) a lot. Good stuff.

Yeah, apart from that annoying protocol officer on Tatooine (which I gave a shiny [ok, not really shiny] new uniform), there were no female Czerka employees. I was able to somewhat fix that now, though there still won't be that many due to the lack of VO.

As for the Wookies, I'll try to get a SS up. Gorwooken now looks very intimidating.

As good as it gets, I guess. I'm playing DA at the moment. Will return to modding later.

Every day is a holiday for me (well, except maybe when I have to listen to people who think everyone and everything is bad, corrupt, evil, or whatever ), silly.

Anyway, since Christmas is already over, I will wish you a Happy New Year!!!

Good suggestions. At least two of those will definitely get replaced (I'm leaning towards the Dantooine droid store owner and that Rodian pazaak player on Korriban). I don't want too many of those little creatures in the game, but two or three should be fine.

Also, I should mention that clones will be far less common with my mod installed. You won't meet two or more NPC's with the same face in a single module anymore.

Hehe, I loved that quote as well. LotR was overall a very well conceived, acted, and directed movie (I actually prefer it over the book. ).

As for Nietzsche, I'm not as well acquainted with his work as I probably should have been; but it's never to late to change that, right?

Regarding Christianity: I have the utmost respect for Jesus and his teachings (definitely a man of some experience and wisdom), though I wouldn't consider myself a Christian (or at least the Christians wouldn't consider me one ) as many of them tend to understand Jesus' words differently than I do. I'm not saying their believes are wrong, though - they simply managed to "extract" different truths from his words than I did.

Anyway, I may still finish my KotOR mod, but right now I indeed want to get my DA mod done first, at least. Time runs too fast - sometimes I wish I could stop it, but had little luck so far. I don't give up that easy, though.

Yeah, I really should finish that up one of these days. It's basically done - just needs some final finishing touches. All I need to do is find some time for it, which is the hardest part.

I might be able to dedicate some time to my mod in the next three weeks; the higher powers seem to have decided to let me divert my attention to modding for a while.

I'll update the thread when I have something to show.

I mostly travel by car, though I'll probably try the train sometime. Can't say I'll be able to find enough will to mod there, though. I prefer to just look out of the window and meditate.

As for Czerka, that's what I already did. Certain male Twi'leks were replaced by female Twi'leks, and the few humans that have nothing to say (I can only remember the ones engaged in a battle with the Wookies on Kashyyyk) also had a few females introduced into their group. I'll look for more opportunities.

I understand... perfectly. One can only take so much crap from clueless and ignorant people before he snaps.

We seem to be incapable to live as one, even though we're all of the same species and have similar desires - an interesting life to live, no doubt.

Also, good work on your newest robe. I think the collar could still use some work (I always spend the most time there since you're forced to stare at it every time you're having a conversation), but I think it looks great overall.

I've done as you asked, and "fixed" the eyes. They do look much better now. I've also put shiny eyes on other skins, but I'm too lazy to update the screenshots.

You'll notice that the lips are also different. That's because she looked weird when she was talking. Giving her different lips fixed that.

Anyway, hopefully I'm done with that skin. It took me quite a while to get it perfect.

P.S. I like the bushy eyebrows (apparently). Just look at Sunry.

Indeed, though it seems that hate, despair, and lack of fate are also the everlasting forces. They can go away (and almost always do) but always return at some point. They (love, hope, faith and the opposites) wage a constant war, and they will continue to do so for eternity if we don't find the right balance between the two forces. But that search has proven to be quite difficult, I'm afraid. All I know is that you need to have a very open mind to reach it; if you keep judging everyone and everything around you (something that each one of us likes to do, no doubt), there is no way you will ever reach that passage.

That's just something that this little human (read: me) believes.

It's going fine, but I keep adding some new stuff (I'm addicted, I say, addicted!). Anyway, I guess it should be done before October (I hope).

It's progressing quite well, but I every time I think I'm done (either with the skins or the placement of NPC's in the modules), I find something that I don't like, and then spend time fixing it. For this reason, I have no idea when I'll be done with this thing. I mean, will I ever be satisfied? I can't seem to find an answer to that question.

Oh, definitely. Fallout 3 has been much improved, but it still can't match the level of TSL, or even KOTOR I. But I like it for different reasons; I think you should give it a try if you haven't already.

If you want another game with excellent writing, Torment (the writing of many characters is up to the quality of Kreia's) and the first two Fallouts are great (that is unless you've already played them). The graphics are very dated, but the pain of staring at ugly pixels is worth it at the end. In fact, you won't even care after a while. At least I didn't.

Oh, many things that have nothing to do with scripting can go wrong, but it's true scripts are the most troublesome. And since many changes only show on a freshly loaded module, I now absolutely hate the running animation.

Then there's trying to make this thing compatible with other great mods.
