It's actually not that cold in Finland at the moment, but I'm definitely tired of all the snow and relatively cold weather. It can get to -20 Celsius but that's pretty rare nowadays. Back when my grandfather fought in the Finnish Winter War they had temperatures as low as -40 Celsius.

I'd love to be someplace warm. Hows the weather in your country?

Lol yeah, I'm applying for a school in March so the coming months will be kinda hectic for me.

I think I've needed this six month hiatus of doing absolutely nothing in terms of school / work. I believe everyone needs a 'breather' every now and then, to reflect on life and so forth.

Yes! the Mediterranean rocks. I don't remember the names of all the places we visited, but we did rent a house with a POOL in Algarve (Portugal) -- which was awesome we used to do these road trips through Europe. We started our trip from Sweden and drove through Germany, France etc. before arriving in either Spain or Portugal ! great times.

Well, I've been sick a couple of times on vacation in Spain and Portugal, and that's definitely not fun. ;D The hot/humid weather combined with a fever = teh suck.

Gaah! humidity is one thing I find hard to handle though, I don't mind a warm climate but the humidity (especially if you get sick) can be quite the test. And yeah, I'll make sure not to visit during Monsoon season. ^^

Lulz. I guess we Westerners like moving to our own place almost immediately after we turn 18 ;D I'd just love the privacy an apartment would offer me I guess =)

Woo ! I've never been to China, and not Asia for that matter either. I'd probably feel at home pretty much anywhere in Asia because AFAIK (As far as I know, if ya don't remember ;D) Asians tend to be short. =)

These past couple of years I've had this strange urge to visit Africa, It kind of feels like going back to my "roots" (since Homo Sapiens migrated from Africa back in the day, that's afaik) ;-D also, elephants and lions are cool. >_>
