Emma
Yet people seem to criticise it as a career choice. I reckon they're just jealous. Nothing gets up my nose more at the moment than people saying that I'm doing a 'Mickey Mouse' degree, when it requires a great deal of talent, creativity and philosophy. Agreed. Though I can't draw for beans (except skulls and people with their mouths sewn) I hope to be a writer and/or film director. I get a lot of "point and laugh at the kid who'll get no education or money" from adults. I hate that...it takes work and education and serious creativity to make writing and directing possible. Same goes for painting, photography, drawing, and music...people who look down on these professions dont deserve to see/hear the art that's been created. Emma
Aye. I started on an 'academic' degree (Communication with Moderl Languages) three years ago, needless to say it bored me to tears and I gave in just over a year into it.

Artsy people tend to appreciate good humor (it's just a thing I've noticed)...because not many people like Monkey Island humor. I mean, if I repeated any MI joke to my friends they'd beat me for not making sense. Sad, but true. Originally posted by Frenchyd IT'S MAGNUS!!!!!!!! VIP?? VIP?? Instead she went to the UWCN in Caerleon, Newport because it apparently has better accommodation for first years. She's in her third year now, though. Also whilst we're on the subject today is her 21st birthday.
