If you can turn off one sabre or staff why bother single?

What is advantage of being just a single sabre jedi? Are the stances restricted to only those that use a single? or can the staff/dual use the stances if they shut off their sabres

you're restricted to only that single saber stance and all the combos for that one stance are disabled :/

Exactly. If you have saber staff or dual sabers, you're limited to only one stance with single saber, medium stance. If you choose single saber, you have the option of learning three stances, fast, medium, and strong. (at least, that will be the case in the full game) I think it's a good way to balance the sabers out.

single has strong. you can only get medium and light with the multi-bladed sabers.

But yeah, to sum up:

 

Saberstaff gives you Medium Stance (yellow). But you can't do the special move (yellow DFA).

 

Dual Sabers give you Fast Stance (Blue). But you can't do the Lunge.

 

So you can't do combos with them either? Ah.

 

With Single Saber you get Strong (Red) and all of the special moves you missed out on. ; )
