Balance of the force is a class and advancement based modification of Raven Software's Jedi Knight 2.

 

Players can join the Rebel Alliance or the Imperial Army. Each side has a distinct set of classes which provide varied benefits and enforce different playstyles for each team.

 

Players pick a starting class and advance up the hierarchy. Players gain classpoints for kills and completing map objectives. These classpoints can then be spent on upgrading to a new class. A player must buy a class each time they spawn into the game.

It's a pretty fun mod. Sorta like a Siege mode, but for JO. They need to make more BotF maps though...

they're working on some, it's still beta mind you, but very fun...botf will be the reason i wont uninstall JO

Yeah, I've played the mod. It's pretty good. I think the creators are working on balancing issues for the teams right now. I hope more maps come out!
