Well, we still don't have any details regarding each class, so a lot of this is based on assumptions and guesstimates. If the tech class is like the engineer, or something in other games, then maybe you build stuff, repair stuff, or can operate/place turrets, etc. It would be good if only a tech could hack systems effectively too...like opening doors, or disabling enemy turrets, maybe. Heh, this was by far the most popular class "cross-game-mode" in JKII. I'm hopeful this time the community will provide players with a little more humor. As said, that's pretty much the norm for all multiplayer 2. I'd be more concerned about the demolitions guy who thinks his own team's sutff would look that much cooler in pieces, or the guy who wants to try out his conc on everyone in the server. Whiners can be ignored, losers can't. PS: If my multiplayer experience proves true, whiners really like to complain about that sniper that took them out while they were typing a long-winded complaint again the last guy that took a shot at them. JarJarBinks Posted September 15, 2003 Share Posted September 15, 2003 I don't know what I want to be, I'll have to play the game first. However, I know I WON'T be picking Assault or Heavy Weapons. Most likely I will either be driving the vehicles (from what I hear there will be vehicles in Siege) so I'll be Tech so I can repair my own vehicles, or if I get better at saber combat (I consider myself above average, but I still have alot of room for improvement) I might be a jedi, if I just feel destructive and evil I might go demolitions, every once in a while I might go scout if nobody else is. Unless of course other classes are needed and nobody will pick them (see next sentence). I have a feeling that severs are going to be filled with only Jedi and Scout 90% of the time, with lots of n00bs screaming how they can't open doors, not knowing they need a demolitions guy . ganjalf Posted September 16, 2003 Share Posted September 16, 2003 yuh id prolly be jedi cos like the tenloss is really umm crap....i mean dont get me wrong i was brought up watchin star wars and have played since jedi knight 1 but well i want a sniper rifle with a bit of oooomph, tusken raiders have the got the right idea....oh and jedis will prolly be too common in this game mode i reckon most likely cos they have death wands (lightsabers). oh and tribes 2 ruled untill it set my PC afire Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
