Need Help: Error: Invalid game folder

everytime I try and join a game I get this message

 

Error:

Invalid game folder

 

 

could someone please tell me what this means and how to fix it?

You will get this message if you try to join the warez servers. and yes, sadly,95% of the current servers are warez. Look in server info. If compile date = 5 aug 2003, the error will be there.

Ive also been getting that message. I have been able to connect and play once. Another time i connected to a server running a seige mode and it crashed to the desktop saying something like program error windows mut exit program.

 

And yes, i have the full version, from the store, got it today. So its not the warez problem.

If you re-read ASk's post, he said there are warez 'servers' out there...so the legitimate clients cannot connect to these servers properly. You need to find a legitimate server for you to connect to, and hopefully there should be a lot more of these coming online now the game's out in the US.

Thanks for the tip. I jsut picked up the game and haven't tried playing online yet. This is good to know
