ckcsaber Posted September 22, 2003 Posted September 22, 2003 How old are you? Does age really matter with the Beatles? They are timeless. Helter Skelter is a weird song, but still very cool. Did you know that the song was the supposed cause for the Manson murders? In 1968, Charlie was forecasting racial war when all of a sudden the Beatles released their White Album, which had the song "Helter Skelter." The lyrics fit Charlie’s theory to a tee: "Look out helter skelter helter skelter helter skelter/She’s coming down fast/ Yes she is/Yes she is." Now, the racial Armageddon had a name. It was Helter Skelter. link I hate it when people take songs/movies/tv too literally, and ruin the idea that it is a form of entertainment.
Lost Welshman Posted September 22, 2003 Posted September 22, 2003 I can't see this thread lasting long. But what the hell do I know. *off to look for beatles in my room*
>Steed, John Posted September 22, 2003 Posted September 22, 2003 I love listening to the Beatles, just so long as I am wearing very strong ear-plugs which do not let in any sound, however loud. Terribly sorry about that comment, but someone had to make it. The Beatles managed to drag down the image of Great Britain enough when they were around, let alone after they stopped making music (or devastating noise, as I call it). Can you see where I stand on the Beatles?
Insane Monkey Posted September 23, 2003 Author Posted September 23, 2003 im sorry to say this but i strongly disagree the beatles changed the music industry for the better ps how old are you
