Kurgan
Be honest, how many people would like to see this creature added as a "ridable" vehicle? I know I would.. ; )
Cosmos Jack
Or how about a desert MP map? One that has platforms and walkways kind of like "Narshada Streets FFA," but at the bottom there is sand dunes and if you fall or get pushed off and don't get back up in time. A "sand creature" comes up and gets you....
|GG|Carl
A "ridable things" mod would be cool, where you could ride sand creatures and mutated rancors etc.
Cosmos Jack
What's wrong with my idea?

I think it's pretty good, there's only 1 little problem, on NS streets, you fall a very long way, so you'd die when you landed. But if the "floor" wasn't so far away, then, maybe, I't would make a nice map. or mod.
Cosmos Jack
WOOO..... I never meant for the drop to be life threatening like "NS" Just the map made out with walkways and platforms like "NS" You're suppose to survive the drop so the sand creatures can eat you. Wouldn't that be cool force grabbing some guy than dropping him to the floor of the map and watching a sand creature eat him ahhhhhhh........ |GG|Carl
Yeah, that'd be pretty fun, but, if you got down there, You'd have to hurry to run away to the sandcreatures, so that you'd respawn as fast as possible. But, if there were a few ways out of there, like a lift, or stairs, then you would have to run as fast as possible to those stairs, without getting eaten by the sand creatures! Cosmos Jack
Well hopefullt there would be no spawn points on the map floor and yes there should be a lift, but only one. So if it already up you better start jumping. lol Maybe some places where you could jump back up only with ful force power though.
TK-8252
Those Sand Creatures scare me! But heck, so do those Mutant Rancors!
Forceflow_tap
Well... Since I'm taking a break from "More Hilts", I've created "GameUpgrade", which makes all sorts of interesting things happen in the game. Also, there are now two new vehicles, the Mutant Rancor, and the Sand Creature. Sadly, riding the Sand Creature will take a bit of effort to get it working properly. Currently, you ride IN THE MOUTH. and it won't come up above ground until you kill it. If you want the current version, e-mail me at: Dark_Kateria@juno.com with subject heading "GameUpgrade Mod Please". It's pretty small.

But sadly the game won't allow me to spawn sand creatures in MP, but I'll see if I can get it to work anyways.
Hekx
The sand_creature and sand_creature_fast NPCs function poorly in multi-player. They usually stay underground and move around, where only their shadow can be seen grazing the land. The only time they do surface is upon death or when Rancor are on ground near them (not sure why ). But SP on the other hand...
