I love the smell of the inside of a guitar case,.. especially if it's a vintage instrument.

It must be something in the wood and about the way the laquer ages and breaks down on those old Gibsons, Fenders, and Martins that makes the case smell heavenly when you first crack it open... especially if it's been closed a while.

I myself enjoy scented candles. go to http://www.yankeecandle.com Plenty of them right there, and the flagship store and factory is only 50 miles north of where i live. I must say, as your driving by it on the highway it is such a beautiful scent. You know you're there when you can smell the fragrance.

I picked up a teeny little votive of "Midsummer's Night" or whatever and put it on my shelf. It makes the place smell lovely and I haven't even burnt it yet!

I love the smell of girl's hair. Especially raspberries.

For you, a special gift. ;)

i just thought of this...and it doesn't have to do with snorting any aromas....but it still has to do with odorous paraphernelia (?)

if there had to be two extremely stinky places in this world...they would be:

1) candle stores. girls love it, but the stench is overwhelming. all those lavender, valentine day's red whatever candles combining is wrong. and how can you tell the difference between lavender and lily anyway? some candles, though, smell very nice...esp. vanilla ones, those are good.

2) perfume sections of department stores. oh man! constantly spraying that perfume around in the air...and they always seat down random people walking by and spritz them and then put on eye liner and mascara and whatnot so they can walk around looking and smelling like a lime all day.

Do they do that to you a lot? :p

But hollow-bodied Gibsons are just like acoustics anyway.

Aww... now you've made me envious. All I have is two acoustics ( steel and nylon). I've always wanted a hollow-bodied electric! If I only had any money...:D

But still, the steel one is, of course, a solid spruce-top. *sniff*

I posted pics of all my guitars here: http://lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=113039

This is really nothing compared to my dad's collection though!
