Either its the goat curse, or the human fan....geez...the Marlins were the better team, period. Thats it, last time. Read. My. Posts. No one seems to read any of my posts after that!!!! How can winning 3 games in a row be luck? Everyone seems to not be able to handle the fact that Marlins just might be the best team in MLB, which is ok...acceptance is a hard concept... Thats it, last time. Read. My. Posts. No one seems to read any of my posts after that!!!! Read your own posts Z....you specifically said: But if he didn't catch it, the cubs woulda won. The Cubs woulda won! Look at it and try to use some common sense!! woulda translates to would have, meaning that without a doubt the Marlins would have lost....so I think I did read your posts and made a logical interpretation...choose your words more wisely next time! ZBomber
Cubs probably would have won the game Doesn't matter, I posted that long before you posted your useful input. EDIT - Yes, it would. I hate to say it, but the Yankees are a really good team. The Red Sox are obivously better, but they made very stupid choices, and lost. The Marlins are a decents team, and believe me, I'm rooting for them now, but if they win, it would all be luck.... This is the same team that the Red Sox set a record of the most hits in a inning with no outs, so, just keep that in mind.

So, how much are they going to pay this guy for damages when he takes them to court for putting this information into public hands, knowing the reaction it would get???? A couple of hundred k?? Enough to move city and get a new job????!!! Not too many ball games allow for the ball to be outside the playing arena and get caught to be out. Then again not quite the same spectator fever to get a "game" ball, considering they must go throw truckloads...
KBell
Well, I recently talked to the guy yesterday and he told me that he's getting a paid 1 month vacation from work, so he's forgotten all about this debacle
vegietto
ok i will be honest i would have done the same i wouldn't have been able to control myself but Chicago shouldn't be so hard on them i mean he was just being a fan who wanted a souveir i would have done the same thing i mean they should have took Mark Prior out he was used up but they didn't so it was more the manager and the players fault that they lost i mean the shortstop made that huge error which hurt them bad
