Crow_Nest Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 Some of you might already know this, but for those who don't know. You can actullay use the JO kicks in JA SP too. (Havent tried it in MP yet.) Its the same, aim your crosshair at someone, run towards them and tap jump twice. (Its best to aim for the legs) And it works when you're using dual sabers, staff and single bladed saber. Side-kicking is also the same. Just tap strafe left/right and tap jump. And the JO kicks does more damage than the normal kicks when you use the saberstaff!
Kurgan Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 The reason this works for you is because you have g_degumelee 1 on. Yes, it's rather cool (and fun) to use in SP, but sadly it doesn't work in MP (not that I've seen anyway).
Crow_Nest Posted October 17, 2003 Author Posted October 17, 2003 I think i've done it before in MP. I think so....
Crow_Nest Posted October 17, 2003 Author Posted October 17, 2003 Hey i just found out something. When i used the normal kicks (kick with staff) on someone, i suddenly jumped VERY high up! See the screenshot: Don't know how i did it. Must be a bug. But it was kinda cool.
Sam Fisher Posted October 18, 2003 Posted October 18, 2003 The 'kick' seems to only work good when you strafe kick them, but its very good for kicking them off ledges:)
Crow_Nest Posted October 18, 2003 Author Posted October 18, 2003 The normal kicks sux. The JO kicks could kick them very far, which means its good for kicking them off cliffs, ledges... etc
Crow_Nest Posted October 19, 2003 Author Posted October 19, 2003 I just found out how to kick very high. But does not work all the time. First , you must be having the staff. Run towards an enemy, an press jump+forward+mouse2 (kick). And you might jump very high. another way is: forward+jump+mouse2. You might need to try a few times to do it.
MasterSidious Posted October 28, 2003 Posted October 28, 2003 SWEET A SUPER JUMP BUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D rofflmao
Sam Fisher Posted October 28, 2003 Posted October 28, 2003 Yes, that is simply the flying kick. You can do the same thing in MP.
Hekx Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 The problem is; unless you are Bruce Lee in MP, flying kicks are about as useful as throwing grass at them.
Kurgan Posted December 9, 2003 Posted December 9, 2003 Currently, to use JK2 style "flip kicks" in JA MP you need to use either JA+ mod or Xmod2.
