RoyTordesLegend
....Red Socks?? What's all this about....? .....hang on....are you talking about 'rounders'?
edlib
I'm a bit disappointed... Losing to the Yanks is what hurts most. The worst part is listening to snotty Yankees fans gloating about it. I love it if the Marlins manage to clean thier clock, but I don't really forsee that happening. It's going to be a dull, dull series and I really don't plan to watch any of it. Branik
I feel for you man. I don't really know anything about the Red Socks or the Yankees, but as a sports fan, I know what you're talking about. The thing I watch is finnish ice hockey. My team, Tappara, is doing very poorly. Last season they were champions, but now they're last in the league with a five game losing streak! It sucks. But hey, they're bound to do better the next time, right?
Alia
Feel free to think me heartless when I say that I cherished the thought of all my fellow New Englanders all pale and sweaty biting their nails down to the knuckles during the eighth inning. I don't really care about the Red Sox, they haven't done much to gain MY sympathy. Oh! I am such a cold-hearted bitch! I think hockey is more worth watching by far. Philocleon
The Sox came so close to beating the Yankees. If we'd beaten them in that last game, that would be a small measure of revenge against them for stealing Ruth from us. If we had actually gone on to the series and actually win it, it would be the most glorious thing in the world. BTW, there's a little thing about Clemens. Which team did he go to first after leaving the Red Sox? I forget. Oh, and if we stilll had Mo Vaughn, we would've gotten some power hits.
Herman Toothdecay
Clemens went to Toronto for two years I believe... ANDY YOU ARE ARE A COLD-HEARTED BITCH!
Shivermetimbers
Andy is a cold hearted bitch. I (also as a fellow new englander,) FELL YOUR PAIN. I am heartbroken. And I stayed up until 12:30 to watch them lose, and consequently had much trouble getting up 7 hours later. YANKEES SUCK!!!
Shivermetimbers
And the Yankees didn't steal Babe from us... we sold him to finance a Broadway show.
Alia
Edit button, you wench, edit button. You weren't moved to tears in the least when you looked at the stats of my future computer. Ernil
YOU'RE the cold-hearted bitch! If I ever meet you in real life, I'm going to beat the crap out of you. It'll hurt so bad you'll wish you had never been born. Actually, I've decided to track you down and kill you. Much Love, Andy Wow Andy! Keep it down there! Darth Groovy
Baseball is fun to play, but boring as all Hell to sit and watch. I would much rather watch paint dry. As for Hockey, that is a sport that can be enjoyed on all levels. As a former right wing, I have to say that Hockey is the only sport that really matters. SamNMax
The Yankees are an unstoppable force of whom no one can compete. I almost feel sorry for the Marlins. I can't stand the Cubs or Red Sox. (Everybody at my school hates me for this)
Herman Toothdecay
Naw, the Yankees win all the time cause there is no salary cap in baseball; George just funds them with however much cash they need every year to coax the best players to their team. They win with money, its that simple. If you disagree, look at football... there are no dynasties cause everyone is on an equal playing field when it comes to signing players.
