bkh0501
I have been running Jedi Outcast for over a year with no problems and it runs better than any other game I've got. Why then, is Jedi Academy so darn slow in comparison? I've had the fog problems, slow framerates, dynamic glow problems, etc. with my GeForce FX 5200 Ultra with JA. How come it runs perfectly in Jedi Outcast? I tried out the new 52.13x drivers from Guru3D and saw no improvements. Maybe it was my OS...? What do you all think? Bilbo Skywalker
Lots of people have complained about dynamic glow, try turning that off. also consider turning off shadows, or setting them to simple. Wall marks too. All these things can slow the performance, but Dynamic glow is probably the biggest culprit.
Andy867
Also, if this is during SP, try turning off Force Feedback (which is on by Default) under the mouse/other control options.
Darth Rythe
I'll also try these tips, thanks.

tFighterPilot
That won't help... I also got GeForceFX 5200, and I have to put it on 800X600 to get a decent framerate. I downloaded a driver from NVidia yesterday.
