Inventory pictures in Mi1

Did anyone who played the original mi1 with words in the inventory instead of pictures FREAK OUT when they saw the newer version with the pictures????

 

I did! - I never expected the rubber chicken to look like that...

Played the orginal with only the text inventory before mail ordering a pack of both the first and second game.

 

Think I remember being 'Hello, what do we have here then?' On seeing the picture inventory.

 

It was interesting to see what many items actually looked like.

I played the text one first and while the pictoral inventory in the later version did look quite nice, I wasn't that keen on it as I already had a good picture in my mind of what the items would actually look like.

I first played with pictures so I didnt like the text version when I played that.

Youve probably already seen these but for those who havnt theres some alternate icons for the meat and sword.

i've only played the picture version...i didn't know there was one with text. and those alternate pictures are very interesting...

The text is in the original versions and the demo.

Are you by any chance related to Darth Mole in any way?

I thought it made the control system generally less cumbersome, which is always good...

 

Also, I like them purdie pictures.
