Colin Strife
What are u talking about? If u become a Jedi u have to give up your guns??? That isn't fair! And it doesn't go with the movies and EU!
Jan Gaarni
Colin Strife, having Jedi at all in this game doesn't go with the movies or EU in the first place. You should be greatfull that they put them in at all.
Colin Strife
That's not really true. Many Jedi are still in hiding at this time. Not just Yoda & Luke. Alot more by EU.
Jan Gaarni
No, not alot more. Compared to the thousands of Jedi before the Jedi Purge, there are not alot left of the old Jedi Order.
Colin Strife
There's about six left. Not much, but they're still out there.
darthfergie
yes, very true...but as for giving up pistols...when you unlock the FS slot, they give you another Alternate Character. You will start a totally new character on that server that is a Jedi. You will still have your regular character on that server. And to control the Jedi population, apparenlty Master Bounty Hunters can track down Player Jedi (which would absolutely suck if you were a little novice Jedi who is buff enough to down a butterfly)
seadonkey78
I almost feel bad for these people who are becoming jedi's... once people know about it they're hounding these poor bastards nonstop. I guess it's good in some cases since I'm sure plenty of people would help them get their new character started off comfortably, but after a while I would get sick of all the attention and macho bounty hunters and commandos trying to start duels. Colin Strife
If I become a Jedi, I'm going to have my original character become one (if that's possible) instead of dealing with two. And I'll start training on Dantooine taking out Dark Jedi and slowly rising through ranks, then I'll move out in to the galaxy world and kick anyones ass who comes after me!!! You have to create a new character, that's the idea behind the opening of a force-sensetive character slot. It keeps already powerful people from becoming even more powerful. Besides, have you ever heard of a jedi starting out as an old man? No. They start out as young inexperienced kids, just like your new character would have to be. I also find it disturbing that so many people want to be a jedi so they can just 'kick everyone's ass.' Is there not going to be any good jedis?? Colin Strife
I don't get that. I thought u were only allowed one character per account?
seadonkey78
You're allowed one character per server, but you can have I think 10 different characters if they're on different servers.
impala
As far as good Jedi goes.. I don't even think there will be a BAD Jedi, because BH's will hunt and kill them. So, you better keep a low profile. That's what I would do.
Coralrives
What does "EU" mean?
bentwookie77
It means Expanded Universe. It deals with all the books that have been written in the Star Wars universe:deathstar
Colin Strife
EU also goes for the video games, animated series, etc.

Sim Fubar
Would suck to become a Jedi in my books... i thought it would be cool till i saw the Screenshot.. Geez! you would get spammed pms 24/7 and the big mob following you everywhere you go...
Colin Strife
That's kinda why you keep your saber and powers hidden.
Salieh Maeh
The reason she has so many people following her is cause she's a showoff. If she wasn't, there would be little problem.
Colin Strife
I'd rather stay in the shadows, remain hidden. It's more fun that way.
Afterthot
My thots exactly =P This is my first MMORG and i'm still having amazing time exploring the social aspects of the game. The thrill of roleplaying Jedi is more appealing to me than running around with a Jedi Padwan title above my head...
boinga1
The thing is, your original character will be quite "messed up" if you open the FS slot. He'll have master the "Chef" professsion and all that useless trash the holos say to Master. You, even after you've played with your Jedi characer and gotten then killed, you'll have to do some rbuilding to become the type of player you wanted to be.
Colin Strife
That's right. If u have to Master some crappy stuff (which i'll do to be Jedi) then keeping that character's pointless. I'd probably delete mine and put my Jedi character as the same name as the character I deleted.
