markx182
Can someone with the game tell me, is the fighting really turn based and slow, like do you have to wait a while for the enemy to choose and do an attack on you? I heard there is an option or something for real time fighting, does this make it completely real time and much more flowing? I'm not really a fan of turn based fighting, but i dont know do you think they made the turn based fighting system enjoyable and does it make for challenging fights or just random battles all the time? Boba Rhett
It's all real time but you can pause the game at any time and assign attacks for your characters to perform.
Prime
Apparently it is very similar to the system that Baldur's Gate 2 had.

I've heard it is somewhere in between NWN and BG2. One thing I missed in NWN was 'auto-pause'. Playing as a Paladin I didn't notice it, but as a Sorceror, I'd have appreciated it to prep spells and whatnot. I end up with a quick 'spacebar finger' ...
