Crow_Nest
You must extract all the files and put it in base and you MUST run the kill tracker from the base folder and leave it on.
eniaC
Here is a little more insight why alot of people don't like it. other thread
Crow_Nest
Remember, use the command "!ktoff". So your messages wont appear. Players will find it annoying, like what Telsa said.
mark_ahlers
If someone else is runnning a kill tracker can I type !KTOFF to turn their's off? hehehehe
Chuahtemoc
lol i doubt that. hey PureEvil, i'm not trying to be mean or anything, but alot of the ppl here hate killtrackers and you're likely to get kind of bashed on. Regardless, this thread might be better posted in the Tech Help forum--here: http://www.lucasforums.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=159 personally, i dont like kill trackers, but so that people don't get all pissed off in the game, find someway to make it so that only you can see the killtracker's numbers. i'm not sure, but i do think !ktoff does it. Amidala from Chop Shop
Originally posted by P.I.M.P If someone else is runnning a kill tracker can I type !KTOFF to turn their's off? hehehehe Yes, if you change your name to exactly match the name of someone using a killtracker (including colors, symbols, etc.), you can control their killtracker. !silent turns off the kill spam messages, and !ktoff turns of all messages. Their killtracker will still count kills silently.
