ShockV1.89
Ok, the sound chip on my motherboard just crapped out. If it plays anything at all, it's usually a nasty crackling sound, followed by silence. Looks like I'm getting a new sound card. Any suggestions? Just basic stuff, no more than $100. I know Creative Labs is a good brand.

Joetheeskimo
I've posted this in another thread, but if you want low proces on anything, go to Prigegrabber. I'm buying the parts to get a new computer from it, and it only amounted to about $400, not including fans. Click on "Computers" and find Sound Cards.
