But anyways, I wish you guys good luck with your mod-ness.
Tito
LOL, that's cool... I'm not mad at you, and I don't think anyone is... Back to the MOD: At the moment I've been cleaning up Level 1, which had a huge number of small mistakes and errors, but at least now it's done! Zoom Rabbit
Originally posted by DarkLord60 Seems like most Americans only know one language. I feel so lonely. Aw, don't feel lonely. When I went to highschool in Englewood, Colorado (a good school disctrict) the only classes they had in foreign languages were French and Spanish. Well, gee, thanks guys! Either of those languages would be extremely helpful if I were lost in a Japanese airport, or trying to score hash in India!

Jedi Luke
English is my first language but i can also speak both Polish and Ukrainian as my second and third languages (because i am of polish and ukrainian background). I am not too crash hot at the languages but its enough to get me through a conversation. I can understand the other person. Its replying to them that i have to think a bit. Seriously, though. I worked with a Punjabi cook from India once, and his tally of languages was astounding. He'd learned three in school--Punjabi, Hindi and English (although his English was lousy when I first met him,) then later picked up German, French and Spanish when he lived in Europe. That's six languages. My buddy can literally go anywhere in the world and ask for tea. So, here is my rant for all the American kids here now: when you get the chance, take a foreign language. I know back in my day they weren't required, but by golly heck they should be. At least one--I insist.
