im up to the part where the rancor has green spikes or something and i got to find a way to kill it and i can't seem to figure it out can someone post and let me know how to beat it

dont kill it, run and you'll find some ingeneous, mutated rancor sized door to crush it with

Here is another hint, look for the third large room....

Dont bother about the dark jedi, let the rancor eat them while you locate and activate switches.
