Praetorian Posted December 4, 2003 Share Posted December 4, 2003 Hey everyone, I've been absent for awhile, but for good reason. I got a new job!!! It's actually a transfer within my company. I got a job as a tech in the computer services division at the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. I was previously working in the Purchasing Division, but I'm movin' up. Computers is my career, so it's really nice to get the job to start my career. Monday was my first day, and so far everything has gone better than I ever expected. I have a take home car (that was a big surprize), laptop (to take home so I can work from home if I'm on call), and a cell phone. I love free things. Obviously, I don't get to keep it if I leave, but I don't plan on leaving for quite some time (if ever). I should be around here a bit more, but now that I have a job that usually eats up all my time during the day, I'll probably only check from home. I guess when you cram all that info I'm learning it kinda blurs the whole week. I'm loving this job...it is truely a blessing. I wish everyone could do what they enjoy for a living.
