razorace
I was thinking about it and I realized that the reason why it took so long for the SDK to come out was because Raven had to filter the code to prevent certain parts of it to fall into the wrong hands. Post your theories of what they didn't want us to see. (Please note that this is all in good fun.)
razorace
Here's my theories of the dark secrets that were secretly removed from the SDK: void IncreaseLECBankAccount( int usercreditcardnum ) //Episode 3 Script - DO NOT DELETE!!! //rww - Those Ewoks are SO cute!! <3 //Secret plans to force LucasArts president Simon Jeffery into resigning. // //rww - Excellent.... Tchouky
they were also ashamed of a few things like this : // Some hard coded badness // hard coded mess here // More hard coded goodness for the menus. ^^
Wudan
The funniest part of Tchouky's suggestions is that they are based on truth
razorace
Bah, don't be so picky. It's not that hard. I was able to figure out and reactivate the animevent dynamic pointers in very little time. Plus, there's enough good stuff in there to do your own stuff. I was able to slice in an ambient player sounds system with some modifications to the animevent stuff. With my setup, you can have the Vader models do the breathing with only a simple non-obtrusive text file. And it's powerful enough for many other purposes. The code will be on the OJP repository soon and a binary release soon after that.
