coa1k
I don't understand how the beginning of MI:3 can be possible. At the end of MI:2 you realize that Guybrush is just a kid, and LeCuck is just Chuckie, your pesky brother. But at the begging of MI:3 Guybrush says that he had been kept captive in LeChuck's Theme Park of Doom. He never says anything about him being a kid. And I don't remember anything about him being kep captive by LeChuck in MI:2. Can someone explain to me what is going on. If the guys who created MI:3 couldn't come up with an explanation to the ending of MI:2 then why even make another sequel. (Don't get me wrong though. In my opinion, CMI is the best of the four games)
Thrik
They didn't exactly continue in the same direction as MI2. This may help shed some light.
Jedi-Monkey
The whole thing about Guybrush being a child and LeChuck being his brother was an illusion to fool Guybrush and get him out of the way, meaning that LeChuck got his revenge at the end of MI2. Somehow Guybrush escaped the spell on a bumper car and was left floating out to sea.
SamNMax
Your theory is the same as mine, but I think a mod should come and close this threrad for, obvious reasons.
