ooh yes...we're almost boiling...i can feel the temperature rising...

And though I don't like to get involved, I actually do and will.

Shutt is still moderator there. It's not a threat, I'm just saying, he wouldn't still be a mod if he wasn't doing a good job. I can see both sides of the argument and can see why you might eternally hate him, but hey, you never step in the same river twice. (it's relevent, trust me)

he also wouldn't still be a mod there if everybody wasn't scared off by his negativity.

Are you telling me that the admins are scared of his negativity? Please tell me you're joking, it's like saying the police won't arrest a homicidal old grandmother because she has weird eyes which scares everyone. If the admins thought he was doing a bad job he wouldn't be moderator now, end of story.

Neil Joshi...........my fifth favourite person on Lucasforums!!!!!!!

I think what Das is trying to say, is that the forum in question doesn't get as many posts as it should because the posting on there creates a certain vibe, and certain negativity that puts people off. If the aforementioned had the opportunity to moderate on a vibrant forum such as this, would things go so well, or would he shoot himself in the foot once too often and get reported?

On the subject of becoming a mod, whats the qualification? Someone once said you would be asked if you were particularly helpful to the community. I figured that you'd have to be level headed and impartial such as yourself, but some of the choices for mods in the past have led me to believe that it's nothing to do with skill and everything to do with wearing a hat with bull horns, baring a nipple and doing the conga?

Who did you conga with Neil??? WHO?;)

that's exactly what i meant. plus, that same negativity would probably make the admins not even want to bother with him, since i doubt any one of them even goes around his forum.

Don't ask, I don't really want to think about that... scabb, say nothing, you hear me? Nothing.

Of course the hat actually had bells on.

To tell you the truth, I was told that I was sensible... yeah, I know. And I hang around here a lot... well, I did at the time. And so they made me a mod. Then I became a synic. I must be a mod thing. Although outside the forums I'm a totally different person, it's sort of a Jekle and Hyde complex, except without the Jeckle... or the Hyde. Don't try to understand it... I don't.

I understand completely. Outside the forums, your secretly a woman.

You have no idea how tempted I was to say that in my last post, but then thought there are some line I just won't cross. I'm glad you're there to cross them for me Slink.

But no, actually outside the forums I'm a student... with a life:eek: yes, you heard me right, I got me one of those things. The manuals a bit out of date, but it seems to be working fine.

And before you ask, yes, my hair now does have an actual style.
