Dantooine mod. "The aftermath"

Ok im getting very close to finishing my dantooine mod. its going to be after you escape the lev. and your able to return to dantooine, almost to late as the dark jedi's are spread all over with mass damage sparks flying dead jedis around destroyed droid parts. and what few jedi are left and the whole council are fighting the dark jedi's off. Will anyone survive? Did you make it in time to help anyone? can you break through the spread of dark jedi's to help the council in time? THat will be up to you. You will be only able to visit this dantooine after the lev or by warping if you want.

 

 

 

Note: I found out how to add models from other area's. just copy the model to the override file sence models are unique and theres no 2 the the same file it doesn't hurt. :)

Yea, it will be, right now im trying to get the dark jedi's to attack me and my group when i show up. the council already attacks them when they get close. guess already in their script.

Im still trying to find debree to use. Does anyone remember a place that had lots of debree laying around? not small piles but like chunks? im trying to find debre model but without luck yet.

**mod update***

 

Ok, i hate a little trouble today. i couldn't make the mod read the _s file so i had to put everything under danm13_s into my danwar.mod file so its all under it. sofar i removed everything in the override directory to make sure it was reading it from the mod file and it worked. The bad part is the mod builder program won't let you re-open the file you can just re-do it so im trying to keep it open untill im sure im done :) so i don't have to put everything back in if i find something else i want to add.

 

As far as the escape pod thats a prety good idea, the dark jedi's could have come down in it. Like place it in front of your ebon hawk like 5 of them and a bunch of dark jedi's out front and some jedi bodies. :p sofar its comming along realy good. i can't wait to finish it so i can have people test it out :)

UPDATE

 

Ok, here are the features i have sofar:

 

1. War droids that attack when you get off the ebon.

(so fight your way through that)

 

2.Dark jedi's by the first door to the enclave.

(trying to make them attack right now they just stand there)

 

3. Dark jedi's & war droids by the council members.

(the council attacks the war droids but not the dark jedi for some reason, and same with the others i can attack the war droids but not the dark jedi's)

 

4. got a few debree inside. nuthing real big yet. still looking for a good model.

 

5. going to add a few escape pods that the dark jedi's came in as a quick way to attack.

 

Lord Malak too another fleet ship to dantooine and gave the orders to attack by suprise. Lord malak watched from his ship. then got the message that he had captured us then returned back. thus leaving the dark jedi's there to attack.

THis is how it will be. to make it fit with the story. So the words of the interigator are true, they did attack and where destroying it, but what he didn't say was the attack was underway but not finished. "the dark force hides things from us" so we knew it was true it was attacked, yet not totaly finished off yet.

 

Ok, So somehow i got to make it where after we leave and the remaining council leaves Lord Malak returns and collects the remaining jedi's and finishes off the enclave. so that he will have the jedi's in the end. What do yall think about that? good plan?

If i understand correctly this mod lets you play after youve been captured by the sith, you could make the story line like this......

 

1. the sith captured dantooine completly and after you arrrive on the enclave youre greeted by sith robots

 

2. after youve defeated this wardroids you encounter an surviving jedi who tells you that most jedis are captured and taken of the planet, but some of the counsil members are kidnapped and are still held on the planet.

 

3GOOD. your set on a quest to liberate the jedi masters (thus explaning why master vendar is on the space ship)

You will find the key to the door on the captain of the guard.

 

3BAD. or if you play the dark side you have the choice to kill the counsel members along side the sith and free master vendar with the lie that the counsil members all died in the battle you can do this because the captain guard knows your true identity (revan)

 

4GOOD. This could open the way to a jedi knight test on dantooine, or a remake of curosant (taris)

anyone got a place i can put my mod so people can test it out?

i used to have webspace but due to money problems i had to cancel it. Or if someone has a subdomain with a password that i can host my mods & future mods that would be cool too.

Ok version v0.5a beta is now ready to have people check it out. for now you have to "warp danwar" to get there, untill i figure out how to get the starmap to show it after the lev. Its far from finished but its got lots of dark jedi's lots of war droids. and a few dead body's from the 2 twilek's. the one looking for the child and the one that heps the chronicler. both dead as a door nail :p

 

 

V0.5a beta notes:

replaced the 2 twileks with corpses

replaced the merchants & droids with dark jedi's and war droids

(as if they killed the merchants or they took off. who knows)

a few dark jedi's and war droids through out the enclave. the jedi quarters has for now 1 dark jedi and 1 war droid

(planning to add probably 1 master dark jedi and 5 war droids to "capture" the council.)

I can't seem to connect the new dantooine with the starmap to make it apear after the lev to go to the new dantooine instead of the old.

 

I can't seem to make the dark jedi's attackable. not sure witch script does that. though i think im close to figuring it out.

Or you could duel Vendar and he escapes. :p
