Jackel Posted March 28, 2004 Posted March 28, 2004 also can you take a screen shot of what the problem is and post it here ?
Darth Kellen Posted March 28, 2004 Author Posted March 28, 2004 my resolution is set at 1024 by 768. how do i send the pic?
Darth333 Posted March 28, 2004 Posted March 28, 2004 I think the same happened to me too. You cannot expand the window with a left click. You have to right click and the select expand in the menu.
{Sith}-Guyver3 Posted March 28, 2004 Posted March 28, 2004 hey kellen what program do you use, i want to start modding my own weapons, etc
Darth Kellen Posted March 28, 2004 Author Posted March 28, 2004 FredTetra's Kotor Tool v1.0.1530.39101
Fred Tetra Posted March 28, 2004 Posted March 28, 2004 Are you using Kotor Tool to make your new item? The easiest way to create a new item is to open one of the template items from templates.bif and alter to your liking.
Darth Kellen Posted March 29, 2004 Author Posted March 29, 2004 ok hears the pic of my problem. the damn window wont expand so i cant add properties.
Fred Tetra Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 Please take a screen capture of just the Item Property Editor by making sure that the window is active and press Alt-Print Screen. This will copy a bitmap to your clipboard that you can paste into Paint (Usually under Start | Programs | Accessories) and then save and post to the web site you used before. I'm not sure why your window is being cropped the way it is, and the window is not supposed to be resizable, just minimizable. Have you tried just using the Tab key to move to the Update or Cancel buttons? If you make the "% Chance..." box active, pressing the Tab key once will take you to the update button and twice will get you to the Cancel button. This assumes, of course, that you have selected an entry from each active combobox.
Darth Kellen Posted March 29, 2004 Author Posted March 29, 2004 the hosting site wouldnt take the screen shot so i had to resort to other methods of getting the picture.
Fred Tetra Posted March 30, 2004 Posted March 30, 2004 Unfortunately, that image won't help, but here's what you can do: 1) get the image on the clipboard like before 2) open Paint and resize the white drawing area to about thumbnail size 3) paste image in and answer yes to the question about enlarging the bitmap for the image on the clipboard 4)Type a Control-E (Image | Attributes) and record the height and width of the image 5) post them here or email them to the address in the KT readme.txt file
Darth Kellen Posted March 30, 2004 Author Posted March 30, 2004 Pixels. Width:520 Height:384 Cm. Width:17.28 Height:12.76 Inches. Width:6.80 Height:5.02
Fred Tetra Posted March 30, 2004 Posted March 30, 2004 So far, itI looks like the size is wrong; it should be 520 x 296. Can you save the file in .bmp format (and Zip it, if possible) and mail it to me at the address in the KT readme file, please?
Darth Kellen Posted March 30, 2004 Author Posted March 30, 2004 I sent the file i hope it's the one ur looking for. check ur e-mail.
Fred Tetra Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 Actually, I didn't want KT sent to me; I already have it I need the image from the screen capture: Please take a screen capture of just the Item Property Editor by making sure that the window is active and press Alt-Print Screen. This will copy a bitmap to your clipboard that you can paste into Paint (Usually under Start | Programs | Accessories), then save it, Zip it up, and email it to the address in the KT readme.txt file
Fred Tetra Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 I'm sorry if my instuctions are clear enough. I didn't want you to send me a webcam picture of your monitor with the paint program open with the screen capture pasted into it. Once you have it pasted into Paint, I want you to choose Save from the Paint program's File menu, then choose a name for the file. Click "Save". Use WinZip or WinRar to compress the resulting file and email it to the address in the KT readme.txt file.
tk102 Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 I'm not sure why your window is being cropped the way it is, and the window is not supposed to be resizable, just minimizable. Could you make the window resizable?
