Ray Jones
i was ten when it happened, i totally rememer how everybody was talking about the fallout and how we here in europe would have trouble with it for years. it was an accident, but our failure and could have been avoided. the sad thing is that we do not learn until such things happen. if we learn. Rogue-for-Higher
Chernobyl is only part of the story there are hundred of abandoned reactors sitting around Russian Naval bases, If you look at http://fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ship/row/index.html under Russia you will find tons of Reactor accidents, Sunken Subs with nuclear missiles onboard (One was a Ballistic Missile Submarine with a hundred warheads! Another has two Nuke Torpedoes leaking off France). Its even worse since nearly every Russian sub (Except the Charlie and Alfa) have TWO reactors that are lost when it goes down. Recently some people have said the Nuclear Missile Cruiser Pyotr Velikiy may explode due to its state of disrepair! There is a joke in the Russian Navy about how you can tell if a sailor is in the Northern Fleet: He glows. Things are really bad over there…
