kel-dor male
My friend just got JO for the PC, and we wanted to play it together. Do you know how we can play together?
Amidala from Chop Shop
The very best way to play multiplayer is a "LAN party" where two or more people and their computers get together and temporarily network them together, either with cables or wirelessly (cables and a hub\switch\router is the cheapest if you don't already have wireless equipment). Since you aren't using the Internet there is no lag (pings are usually <5), no unwanted outsiders can spoil your fun, it's easy to share map and skin files across the temporary network, and best of all, you can talk to each other, instead of typing out messages in chat. The more the merrier, so invite any friends who are into gaming to come play. When you get tired of one game, you can switch to a different one. Some LAN parties last many hours, with people coming and going, and many different games being played.

hkoi
the easiest way is to start a JK2 server. There are two ways you can set up your server. One is Dedicated and the other is not. The dedicated server will stop the game and leave you with a console (meaning you'll have to open another instance of JK2) This way is usually the best and gives you the most options, but if your computer can't handle 2 JK2s open, you'll want to do it without dedicated server on. Start JK2 Play -> Create Server play around with those settings... it should add your server to the list of JK2 multiplayer servers and you'll be able to play together.. if you have any specific questions about the multiplayer options pm me or post a reply. MasterN64
OR you could agree to go to a certain server that other people are on. Since it would be hard for all your friends to bring over a computer and mess with all those wires, just call 'em up and say "Hey, meet at this certain server"
