Evil Dark Jedi
Read this. Its from an interview The special bonuses are unique and interesting whether it's a special appearance by a Star Wars powerhouse character or a strategic militaristic advantage. For instance, if you pick Luke Skywalker as your special bonus, he'll appear for a limited time in your battle with his lightsaber as a fully fledged Jedi. Your screen instantly starts reeling off deaths left and right, "Skywalker kills trooper, Skywalker kills captain, Skywalker..." and so forth. In essence he's your ace in the hole. Players can pick a variety of specials, from characters such as Luke, Duku and Darth Vader (who, when he appears, can be heard by his heavy breathing before he's seen), or qualities, such as regeneration, additional reinforcements, bonuses to vehicle, or full line of sight on enemies. Deeo
Ehhh... I think that Jedi should be available for the crap-team that's losing horribly. After awhile of losing, perhaps the losing team can call up Vader or Luke or any other jedi chump to give them the edge they need to get back into the game rather than be massacred. Sabretooth
Only in Single-Player Mode, the Jedi should be. Screw things up in MP, it will.

It'd be just stupid to hand the special weapon to the team that's already winning. That's like giving character to the bully. BTW, if you all would just read the article excerpt that's been posted twice, you'll notice that it says "if you pick Luke Skywalker as your special bonus, he'll appear for a limited time in your battle with his lightsaber as a fully fledged Jedi" Hmm, I guess that means he'll have a time limit. Duh...

I think that by giving the advantage to the team that won the previous game, their adding some strategy to the game. Also, if the team was smart, they would save the jedi advantage for when they will be in a tough spot and need to get though a very tough enemy position to capture a critical spawn point, that is, if they chose the jedi as their advantage. :jawa
StormHammer
I know one thing...it won't be much fun on the receiving end of a lightsaber/Force attack. Shoot...shoot...shoot...die.
guyvii
all you have to do is volley fire the jedi and he will be toast. the saber can only block one or 2 bolts at the same time. So, in a small unit game. Jedis will fall to any sort of planing. or carry the Sameralla ( what ever creature that blocks the force ) in a backpack with you. Darth_Ak4t7
Well i guess we'll just have to wait for more info on this situation from Lucas Arts before we can state anything for sure, just yet.

We don't know if you'll be able to put explosives on yourself, but maybe if your rebels, a bothan spy could. Or maybe, you could toss a few grenades his way, unless he can throw them back at you with force push. :jawa

If that is at all possible, it would probably be a sure way to kill them.
T10
Yeah, that's why I'm gonna be a Republic Gunship pilot. I'll crash into a cluster of enemies, killing them all! Hahahahaha! Anyway, I think that a Jedi either lasts a certain amiunt of time/kills, or goes away when hurt a bit, ie, breaking a nail or something. So, massed firepower could work. 10 troops firing E-Webs might work. And if they doesn't work, just run away constantly.
Isair
Based on what I've read in previews, jedi will stay a certain amount of time before exiting the field. I think it's subject to change though, not quite sure.
Eagle Warrior
i total agree with that and i hope that how it will be finally. still how long do you think the time will be i mean you work hard to earn the planet and points
Mountainforest
Did you guy's read what they said about the game? It's very much like the movies. So forget your tactics because stormtroopers aren't smart. They could never kill a jedi. If you run into one there's only one good tactic: RUN AWAY!!! stormtroopers aren't smart
Eagle Warrior
well you are controling the stromtroopers so you wont be dumb.
pink lightsaber
in the article about the bonuses it stated something about being able to have a full line of sight for the enemy. I am at a blank right now about what that means.
Global Strike
I think what they mean by this is to see your enemy on the mini-map. :jawa
