thesubconscious
Anyone know where to get this "model.car" that all these tutorials talk about but never tell where to get it from? I really need Model.car and it needs to be compatible with JKA, I mean if there is a difference between JK2's model.car and JKA's...I really need to know.... Psyk0Sith
The .car file is generated by assimilate for each new model you compile (its pretty much the same everytime depending which options you use). There's a few lines to add for vehicles tho. You can find .car files in the sdk.
thesubconscious
...you think a reason why my model gives me an error in carcass that it is "Unable to find bone "hips" referenced in this mesh" is because the Xform is not reset? does that sound like an Xform error? or is it because I used a JK2 skeleton with the JKA _humanoid.gla? I cant remember, is the KA_Weighted_Skeleton MAX file on your website JKA? or JK2... anyway, I used that (which is very cool I might add) and I still got this error... These things always hate me... or I hate them.
Psyk0Sith
There's no bone called hips on the skeleton, make sure you didnt add the hips mesh to the skin modifier by error. I have both skeletons, check the JK3 FAQ page for a link to download the JA version. Carcass will never give an error about reset xform, xform issues cause mesh problems but wont prevent carcass from compiling (or rarely).
