SITH_ShadowCat
I haven't got a chance to read this article but a new update has happened on LucasFiles previewing our Battlefront as part 3 of LucasArts E3 Reports. Enjoy! Link EDIT: After reading the article I found that there is no new information. But intrestingly enough, my theories have been confirmed on the ARC trooper and the Darktrooper. Another intersting thing I found is the author speaks of Bothan Spies which I though got cancelled out. Pity really, a good waste of a Bothan model. Maybe the spies are so sneaky that even LA don't know they're there? Edit: I'm sorry guys, I'm really tired. I'm going to bed now.
Mountainforest
Well, probably the unbalance the game very much. Fact is: they're not there anymore. I think it stays that way for all factions: 5 units, not 6. This would be you don't have a dark trooper for the imperials, and no jetpack trooper for the republic. This would really piss me off. yaebginn
well, the screens already showed a jetpack troop, so there has to be some way of doing it.
Nevhision
I think they decided to cut down on the special units. Instead of two per faction they wanted it one. Assault Unit, heavy weapons, sniper, pilot plus smugler, jet pack trooper, dorideka, and probably the dark trooper over the officer since there is no spy. Alegis
the destroyer droid seems to have enough weaknesses so not overempowered I was stoked to hear that a buddy and I would be able to hop into a snow speeder together (as pilot and gunner) and harpoon and tow-cable some AT-ATs. Better yet, those massive walkers are mobile imperial spawn points that can be piloted by imperial players. Right now, the AT-AT holds a pilot and a gunner and also serves as a transport for several more. The total number of players that can fit in one AT-AT is still being tweaked, but the LucasArts guys told me that they are going to be siding with fun over continuity on this one, so don’t expect your entire team to be able to fit in one. yay! about bothan spies, they were telling a lot about em already beforehand so i still think they'll be in the game. Unless they're not in the IGN article as well (because then LEC would have contacted IGN specially for removing the unit)
joesdomain
I would rather play as a Imperial Officer than a Darktrooper. I never was a darktroopers.
