A question... I want to make my robe a custom one that is neutral, no DS or LS thingy on it.

How would I go about doing that? I've looked around, but I can't find anything... Damn I'm tired.:emodanc:

Well Temp that can easily... er, I mean it can be done.

Follow these rough steps;

1. Fire up Fred Tetra's Kotor Tool, available here, and open up BIF/Templates/Blueprint,Item and look for g_a_mstrrobe07.uti and double click on that file. It will open up in the native .uti editor.

2. In the .uti editor on the first tab 'General', the one it opens to, find texture variation it should be a 2, make it a 3. And alter the TemplateResRef and Tag fields both to g_a_mstrrobe08.

3. Click on the second tab 'Properties' click on the first line where it says "Alignment Limitation" click on the left side to select the whole line an press the Delete key to get rid of it.

4. You can also add other desired properties at this time, if you so desire, like a +5 to strength or regeneration of force points, etc.

5. On the 'Discription' tab you can also give your robe a custom name as well as a discription here. I believe Fred implemented this on his newest release.

6. Save as g_a_mstrrobe08.uti into your KOTOR override.

7. Change your Forge Robe texture name to PMBJ03.tga and put it in your override as well.

8. Now for the Icon, with Kotor Tool look in ERF/TexturePacks/swpc_tex_gui in the I section look for ia_revan_002.tpc double click on it to bring up the image, click write file to extract the ia_revan_002.tga file to your override, close Kotor Tool. Then simply rename the file ia_revan_003.tga and that will give your new robe an icon in game.

9. In game use the cheat codes and type giveitem g_a_mstrrobe08 and put it on you should have a new and unique robe with your custom texture on it.

I hope this helps! :D

Hey im only messin' with you, i wish to give you a hearty welcome to the clan of Holowan,:D

its good to see people are still interested in this game, and nice work on the Neutral Robes, once you learn how to change stats i'd love to see a neutral robe, its all Light and Dark i'd love to see something new.

again welcome to the forum, this is the place to be as EVERYONE IS UNIQUE IN CERTAIN FIELDS!! (eg. Maverick187 - Lightsabres PrtyLizardJedi - learning the traits of re-texturing oh and Svosh and Sep, i dont need to inform you on them as you MUST'VE already got these LoL) i'm only learning though but myself and another is creating something but thats as far as i go.
