pirate boy
Okay I was inspired by Sven's bust to make a bust of my own. So I did yet another tribute to Murray. This time with a bust instead of a puppet. Murray fits in the palm of my hand and can sit upon his little piece of wood from Curse of Monkey Island or he can just chill around just fine. I spent last night carving him and this morning I fired him up along with his piece of wood and I just put on the first coat of paint. He's drying right now so I took the time to write this down and show you guys my progress. Believe it or not it really takes a lot out of your hands and makes them really sore. But it's fun. I know a couple of tricks now for next time. But other guys I'd like to do would be LeChuck, Haggis, guybrush, dingy dog. Maybe make em like 6 inch tall figures. If I can figure out how to make a decent enough mold maybe I could make some more Murrays and such out of resin instead of clay. That'd be neat. Hope you approve. pirate boy
I just put on a second coating over him. He looks to be finished. Maybe a touch up or two here or there but overall I'm pretty sure I can get up here pretty soon the final product.

Skinkie
I love the way you slipped him in there.
James Isaac
The painted one looks really good. It's really easy to tell that that one is Murray. And I like the way you put him in the MI3 scene
JawaJoey
Impressive. Only complaints: Top of the head a tad bit too small; a little lumpy. But still wonderful. Resemblence is striking.
