I got SWG ,system req question for everyone?

Hi all,I got SWG ,i know ,all of yu guys are saying ,thank God now he'll shutup ,lol !!!:D One last question for everyone, will galaxies run good enough not to get all glitchy on me on these system specs of my pc?

 

Intel Pentium 4 2.66 ghz processor

512 ram

64 mb video card

60 gb hard drive

i got a

 

Athlon XP 3200+

Radeon 9700 128MB

1GB DDR 333

audigy gamer

 

 

and with all vid card setting all down but all game settings all the way up, it is very skippy.

You dont say which graphics card you have. Is it ATi? Or Nvidia... because Nvidia is pretty sneaking with dozens of MXs, Tis, etc and some have totally stripped down features - like taking out Hardware Transform Lighting etc - an important feature with todays games.

 

Check but if Galaxies wont launch, it could be that causing it.

Im not actually saying anything because saying its an ATi means nothing..apart from its an ATi. Have you actually started Galaxies up yet...only way to find out.

 

But make sure it meets Galaxies requirements and the best thing to do is check your graphics card specs with http://www.ati.com .

That is one of ATI's sort of mid-level cards(some people would say low end, but, that's more subjective opinion). Check for drivers and information on the site. ATI chipsets are very driver intensive.

is there a certain way to check for drivers on the site how do i do that?does the computer being a laptop change anything?

just follow the simple online instructions on the ATi website (link above) and install.
