It's 5 minutes 35 seconds

The game looks very very great! Even better than i thought! But these things BUG ME LIKE HELL:

- Way too accurate, way too accurate. It may be in my advantage, but still thinking generally i dont like weps to be that accarute

-the torpedo launcher is also fast and accarute, and therefore looks better to take out unites instead...something like a shotgun

-droidekas look too powerful

-strafing. It seems this game will be a strafe fight, moving left and right in battles only

What looked awesome was in geonosis those tanks walking around, it looked sooo good, like in the movies

I think that the acuracy issue will be what seperate the good players from the bad. You may think the contrary, but observer the rate of fire, not too quick, seems right. Also note the ammo limit located in the top left corner, seems some what too limited for recleness. I don't really know how this will all play out, so we'll see.

The droidekas ARE powerful, but they're also slow, their aming is limited to just turning right or left, rather slowly. Good players will find ways to avoid this.

I also see your point on the strafing, but note that some levels will limit this. And isn't this how all fps go, correct me if I'm wrong.

Craftsman, you lied about the pilot being able to build where ever :p, they can only build on special blaster like icons, check the video again and see what i'm talking about.

a good player is not just someone who can move his mouse well, but implements tactics as well...with tacs implemented he has no problem with the lack of accuracy. Besides, here it looked as if all bullets were hits. In the movies you see bullets randomly flying everwhere, missing...not straight lines. Besides; you HAVE to compensate for the "not reloading"

yes many games are, and its actually ridiculous; seeing players run in cirkles shooting...but in this video it was exaggerated

i hope you agree with me on the sniper looking way too easy, the sniper not moving and stuff

I see what you mean, but when I look at this game, I see Jedi Academy's Siege mode. I love having accuracy as the sniper in Seige, and thats how I get most of my kills, is the accuracy which gives the cross hairs a point instead of the random-shooting -every-where-without-caring-and-hope-you-get-a-kill situation. This video showed good hits from close range, and may have come from someone more skilled against some one who's not. I though the way fire fights happened in the movie was completey strange, how is that almost no hits were made? Just movie dramatization for you.Just looked at the movie, and saw in a bespin map , the part where a guy is on a ledge with grandes being thrown at him, lasers were flying everywhere. But I can see why all this is a concern, but I really must play out for myself before I judge something for the better or worse.

EDIT: After watching some more, I saw that Endor involved alot more of the stationary combat then the other maps, so the circle battle may be limited on certain maps like this.

And I actually saw reloading, if you look at the player, some time they bring there gun up and change clips.

*Puts on Spelling Nazi hat.*

Wookiee Wookiee Wookiee!

Two E's!

Okay, I've watched it now, and here's what I have to say:

The Droideka. Waaaay overpowered. It took out an entire squad of Clone Troopers in a matter of seconds. Also, the Droideka does not lose its shield when it walks. You can clearly see from the movies that Droidekas lose their shield when walking. I can sense the nerf-stick smashing the Droideka very soon after Battlefront's release.

Pilot classes seen to be pretty well-armed for someone who is supposed to be, well, piloting.

The Wookiee bowcaster shoots GREEN lasers. OMG, has the Jedi Knight series had that much influence on the Star Wars universe? Green bowcaster lasers = WRONG!

Ya..spread green shot from the bowcaster is rather silly.

But who knows...those clone troopers being blasted by the droid were probably bots..so...its not surprising they got wiped really fast. I'll watch it again, but I never saw that thing get shot at when it was moving around.

If you watched the Star Wars Trilogy (boy I sure hope you have if you're on this forum), you'll clearly see that Chewbacca's bowcaster shoots distinctive red lasers. The only place that bowcasters have green lasers is in the Jedi Knight series (Dark Forces II, Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy). The "Shock Troop" for the Imperials seems to be based on the "Field Troopers" in Dark Forces II. The "Tech" class in Jedi Academy's Siege mode is also a medic/supplier. It seems that the Jedi Knight series has played a role in influencing the design of Battlefront. Too bad it had to have a negative influence in some ways...

All I have to say is WOW! That AT-ST blasting away at the troopers below lol!! And the face shot on the ewock! Priceless!

And remember it's still not finished yet. Don't judge so quickly. And stop nit picking about laser colors and other small things. If you want it perfect, than watch the movie.

Or they could just do it right.

Let me quote the official video at LucasArts.com:

FOR YEARS YOU'VE WATCHED THE GREATEST STAR WARS BATTLES

WHAT IF...

YOU COULD ACTUALLY LIVE THEM...

That's the point of the game. The point is living the Star Wars battles. This game is supposed to be true to the movies. But I see that they've already broken their own rule... by adding the Dark Trooper... green bowcaster lasers... Pilots being medics/suppliers... a shame.

BooHoo. I have already said that the game is not done yet. Maybe they put it in there so there could meet a deadline with that hands on thing in California. They will most likely fix the bugs before it comes out, and if they don't than well then....BooHoo!

How will you live without red bowcaster lasers!LOL:D

*Readies flame thrower*

*points at TK-8252*

You took the "live the movies" part a little too seriously.

For one,who cares about the color of a friggin laser,to me,the colors mean nothing.Lets go by your logic, lets take out the darktrooper and put the officer in,the officer would have no point without the rebel spy,and the officers abilites have been given to a different class, which would make the officer pointless and make the Imperials weak against the rebels.

OMG,the laser is a different color, the games ruined because it doesnt let you live the movies,if it did,the lasers would be green!!!

"im going to have to make a mod to fix this disaster and make the game the way its supposed to be"

Of course I shouldnt be flaming you,as this is behavior about 80 percent of SW fans have, they over-analyze and nitpick at every minor thing, thinking of it as a huge flaw. Then they feel they need to correct it because they think that the way THEY want it to be,is the way everyone else wants it to be too.And BTW,starwars is a six part story, thus it is NOT a trilogy, but of course you would call it one, because youe the kind of purists that doesnt think of the prequels as starwars movies!!!!

Sorry for this big flame, dont take it personal.I was more trying to get my point across to OT obsessives in general and it came off a bit harsh. It just annoys me seeing all this nitpicking, and I just dont get how anyone could be so obsessive over something so small.Once again, sorry for getting so angry. You can flame me if you want :D
