Whoopknacker
Dont know how many of you played Medal of Honor Allied Assault. I remember that everyone hated the guy with the rockets. They would get rid of the class or modify it with no ammo. My gripe is that they should not have anti armor weapons in a strictly infantry map. BF42 is right on because it takes some aim to kill someone with a bazooka. What I saw on the preview was the rocket sending three dudes flyin and the person shot it right in the middle of them all. This could get ugly.
M Polo
Well if you shoot a rocket in BF1942 into a cluster of three guys they will do the same thing, go flying. I’m sure just like BF, which seems to be what Lucasarts used the most for comparison when making this game, you will need to learn to put a lead on fighters etc. to get the rockets to hit but also like BF you can just walk up and blast a tank, etc. without needing much skill. But it won’t be like you have indefinite amounts of rockets, I’m sure just like BF you will have to find ammo boxes to refill your rockets after a few shots. A rocket soldier can be effective but not enough to give one side or the other the winning advantage. A rocket soldier will have to reload between shots and only having a few shots once those are gone he will be stuck relying on his sidearm and maybe grenades until he can find an ammo refill. Alegis
the reload seemed fast in the ign thing. And accurate, deadly....from what i saw i'd use it vs units instead :\
M Polo
I still say even with a fast reload you only have a few shots before you need an Ammo box which will leave you only with a Sidearm and like said maybe a couple grenades. I'd hate being stuck in the middle of a battle with only those 2 things after freshly taking some soldiers out w/ my rockets because you know they are going to come back looking for you. Alegis
even if its only 3 rockets, a KDR of 3 is quite nice

BF:42 bazooka rounds have no splash damage, and don't send soldiers flying. They do damage to vehicles/soldiers very close to it's path if it doesn't directly hit them, but if a bazooka round hits the ground, it won't send people flying like a grenade blast will. The rocket action will be much different in SW:BF. Much more like UT.
JamesNI
Have a sniper take out the bazooka guys from afar. Shesh.. I mean.. COME ON! Use tactics to win!
PanzerTekk
levels will be big. You can see these guys coming. Use that roll/dodge action to FLEE then kill them. A rocketg guy running across open terrain is in for arough ride.

Yes hated the guy with the rocket launcher but making it all rocket launcher was fun. There will be splash damage in Battlefront: http://www.lucasarts.com/games/swbattlefront/ Just look through the screens
THE BADGER:
Have a sniper take out the bazooka guys from afar. Shesh.. I mean.. COME ON! Use tactics to win! Amen! Always complaining about umbalance. Just use tactics. Get close to him, he will kill himself if he shoots you to close. Or like he said tell your buddy where he is and he will be sniped. People never want a challenge. I want to fight a battle against all 'dekas or rocket lauchers. It's a challenge that I will win.
Elite Jedi
Remember each class has different add and minus. I recall heavy weopons the class which always moves the slowest.
Alegis
moved quite fast. And about the sniper thing; waw. A heavy rockets dude is slaughtering your army but after it killed 7 of yoru team, you can get a sniper take him out. Right on time Do not think like "if its overempowered, use THAT special class" -> every class should be able to beat every class, period
Master William
Yes, all this whining and complaining about unbalance... I convinced myself with my last post in the Droideka thread (you can just own a Droideka with a vehicle or a ship, it has no effect on vehicles or ships) that Droidekas aren't overpowered. And now almost everyone though the Missile Launcher guy was overpowered, but it seems you can just snipe them, even though I still think that missile launcher is too powerful.
