JekRendar
Hehe... Anyways, I need your guys' help. We all know the Devs are pushing off the GCW revamp until after JTL is released. So, that more or less includes Carbineers being fixed and their blasted HAM costs realigned and balanced with the other professions. I've been focused on Carbines since a couple weeks into the game (when I first joined, I wanted to go Smuggler), but I lived with the HAM costs. I spent thousands of credits on resources for meds, I was almost Master Medic, for two reasons: 1. to heal myself and 2. to make extra cash when not hunting. Carbineers need medic to survive and right now, I'm 4000 Medic and buying uber Pentex meds. But Ryxx has been slacking on his Stim B's and I'm getting scared. SO, this leaves with a few choices: find a new place to buy meds, give up Carbineer, buy buffs. Buffs are great, but still can be pricy. I have 900k Carbine XP (capped) and 130k Combat XP, but I'm Carbineer 1423 and BH 0400 and never in a million years would I give up BH. But BH Carbine is nothing really without Carbineer. But, I did some thinking, I could go pistol: Pistoleer and BH Pistol, if I'm really good, I could prolly give up most of the First Aid Discipline. But I thought some more...during Beta, I really wanted to become a Rifleman, but I thought they are cool, but unless they get the enemy right away they are SOL, so I'm told. I liked grinding the Rifle discipline in Marksman, but I agree, they suck at close range. So, then, what about BH Pistol and Rifleman? Hit them hard from range and finish them off when they close in. So, what do you guys you think? (sorry, if you can't understand this, it's 2 AM here and I just got off of work an hour ago.)
Iwok
*whips out the prof calc* Here is what I came up with: BH: 3400 (Jedi Huntin', If ya dont want this you can get some more SPs) Carbineer: Master Medic: 2440 (Can use 40med use stim E's) Marksman: Master Scout 4000 Get buffs and you wont have a problem with Health or Action, since stim e's can heal like 1000+. Then get some food/drink and maybe some ent buffs to keep your mind up... Youll be fine.
Jo
Iwok has a good idea, though the investigation III is worthless IMO with how buffed up jedi are now. *shrug* I did the Pistoleer/BH pistols thing, IMO, not worth it, cant stand on your own for the most part. Medic wise, switch that 4000 to 0040, you can use D's or 40 med use E's, either work and are exceptional to use.
Imreanna
Jordan is blind It stood 2440 medic, so I think he had that third 4 in there to use stim E's
JekRendar
Ok, thanks guys. Heh, now I have another problem, I've had scout for so long, since a few days after release, I've gotten attached to it. I gave up Master and Trapping. But, when I lost Master, I lost the ability to tell what level creatures were and lost some Mask Scent efficiency, which is really good, when on Dant, Lok, and harder planets, when trying to avoid aggro from big creatures. Next discipline I'll give up is Hunting, which is too bad because it allowed me to harvest better and also gave me a To-Hit bonus on creatures. Then, because I'm not harvesting as much, making Improved Camps are gonna be harder. But, I think I'll hold on to Survival for a while, I have plenty of resources. Jatari Bazrak
heh yeah you don't really need Hunting, you can survive without it. (which is something I have done countless times.)

I joined the Rebellion to fight tyranny in the galaxy...and to get under *certain members' skins*. Ahem... Anyways, you're right, but I hunt for Cheffy, granted he has several people hunting for him, I just figured I'd be losing out on a source of income. Oh well, after today, I'm going to use dust off my uber 80% Comp and get buffs, head to the MO and join solo groups for some Janta missions. And then we'll see what happens from there. Of course, I'm going to have to watch my armor and so I don't have another Ony episode, like with his armor today in the Vette mission...

Well, sort of, about 300 miles east in Miles City, Montana. Try to convince your family to head to Medora, North Dakota, it's the place that Teddy Roosevelt like to vacation and they have all sorts of plays, skits, concerts, etc. And then, when you go there, stop by Miles City, either to stay overnight or whatever. If you only stop for lunch, stop by McDonald's and I'll make sure I'm working. I know your family may not go for it, but just convince them, it's for Boy Scouts. But, you stayed in Billings...that's only 2 hours away! (Hey, in Montana terms, that's really close.) Eww...but Bozeman...*mumbles about how much he hates Bozeman* I'll try to forgive for you stopping in Bozeman. Oh yeah, and it's not Bozeman, it's Bozefornia. *Darn Californians are ruining Bozeman and Montana. Go Griz!* Anyways, I hope you had you fun in the Treasure State (Yes, one of the biggest misconceptions around the nation, we are the Big Sky State, but the Treasure State, because we have a hella lot of gold, silver, oil, and NUKES!
