Evil Dark Jedi
They are 1.Tatooine 2.Rhen Var(The one you thought was corusant) 3.Endor 4.Hoth 5.Yavin IV 6.Geonosis 7.Naboo Thats all I can remember at the moment.
joesdomain
They are going to be: 1. Tatoonie 2. Hoth 3. Endor 4. Bespin 5. Yavin 4 6. Naboo 7. Geonosis 8. Kamino 9. Kashyyyk 10. Rhen Var I am pretty sure those are the 10 planets. Bespin, Kashyyyk, and Rhen Var were recently confirmed from Lucasarts representatives.
joesdomain
I was disppointed myself when they didn't choose Courscant, Alderran, and Dagobah. But at least 9 out of 10 planets are in the 6 films. Kashyyyk was the so called episode III mystery planet.
DarthDurp
can u guyz gimme a link to where it says kashyyyk is the mystery planet plz
yaebginn
no, rhen var didnt remind him of coruscant, bespin did. it fooled alot of us. er me anyhow. kashyyk is one. I'd bet ur soul on it.
Lt. Havoc
according to Lucas, he always wanted to show the wookiees home world but decided instead to use Endor and a smaller cuddley version of a wookiee. So is Chewbacca's home world going to basically be like Endor? If so that would make 3 maps very similar.
the ghost of an
Well, Kashyyyk is supposed to be too dangerous to explore the floors, and so the wookies set up their homes in the tops of the trees. This should make it different from Endor and Yavin IV.
Doomie
Three maps? you eman two. Amd Endor and Kashyyyk will differ in that Endor has cute lil' targets, er, i mean helpers, and the Kashyyyk level will probably be situated in a Wookiee treetop village, since the ground level is infested with horrible pedators that could make the battlefield really messy. Ugh. Nasty.
DarthDurp
if u guyz have ever palyed KOTOR then you would know that kashyyyk is in that game, its basically a heavily forested area with gigantic trees and a wookie town up in the trees. i dont think kashyyyk will be in it because the game already has 2 forest maps in endor and yavin
yaebginn
kotor is inaccurate.
joesdomain
Kashyyyk has been confirmed in the new Star Wars Insider #77 in the Star Wars Battlefront article. They mentioned all ten planets in the video game.
the ghost of an
Also you need to realize KOTOR is 4000 years before the battle of Yavin. As such, though it is NOT inaccurate for the time period it doesn't match "current" star wars history. And even then, it may. It is a wookie rite of passage to try and survive the floor iirc. That said, people in the present in SW do NOT go down to the forrest floor under normal circumstances.
yaebginn
no, KOTOR is inaccurate. I mena, Mandolorains being another species, geez.

DarthDurp
yeah, Canderous was a human and a mandalorian in KOTOR, remeber cause you could ask him about stories from the mandalorian wars
yaebginn
I havent played the game, but what LukeKatarn and Hiroki tell me, we had a argument in the RPG forum. They said that Mandalorians were evolved humans and therefore, another speices. I cant exactly judge KOTOR too much, cause I dont like rpgs and therefore, have never played it, and if LukeK and Hiroki were mistkane, then I guess its accurate. But I was led to beleive that ti wasn't. My apologies, if one is deserving. see, the good thing about being set so far back, is its hard to make errors. Like, anything out of place, cna be blamed on time difference. I just wish it wasnt an RPG. I heard they are coming out with a 9 part book series on sometihng that happens around the KOTOR time period. I just hope it doesnt have anything to do with KOTOR, cause then I'd be at a disadvantage.

I assume you do not, since you're gonna play BF on the PS2
yaebginn
I actaully can. I have a non-internet pc with which I play some games. Like JO, later maybe, JA. and Asteroids. I just dont like rpgs. especially turn based ones.

B1GC
I am not a huge fan of RPGs but I loved KOTOR, and yes Mandalorians were humans - they just moved to the outer rim of the galaxy (beyond the Republic - so the could do as they pleased) A word on Kashyyyk...I think it would be cool to go to the forest floor and blast some "horrible predators" A war on that forsest floor would present some interesting challenges for both sides of the battle (Clones vs. Droids vs. horrible predators) <--CRAZY

reelguy227
Originally posted by tFighterPilot It's not turn based. DarthDurp
if you havent noticed TURN based combat means that you take TURNS fighting one another. this is not the case in KOTOR, therefore it's not turned-based, but you're right, you don't control the character. however it is realtime battle. so i would consider the style to be the Real-time KOTOR non-turn-based style of combat.
