vulcan_sniper Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 In a few movies, i have seen the Darktrooper look pretty badass, particulary in the endor planet movie. But i have read that Jet trooper will have gliding and flying jet pack, where as darktrooper will have something like jumpjets. Will these be like in the oo7 game (I think it was agent underfire)? But i havent seen any Jet trooper movies. can someone show me a link?

Why bother making something that has some kicked up weaponry if he cant even aim the shot? I suppose thats why they gave the darktrooper a shotgun, though. Larger splash. For the Jet trooper, i think i might like him alittle better. he can fly, so i think he'll have some better accuracy rather than jumping straight up into the air. The jet packs in oo7 agent underfire were really bad. hopefully the darktrooper's isnt like that.

Virtuosis Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 I agree that the clone trooper might be a little easier to aim when flying, because they can hover and shoot while the darktrooper cannot hover, atleast from what I read. But who knows we'll see when the game comes out!

Geez, i cannot wait for this to come out! erm..sorry. i just get those sudden random wanting feelings...Back on subject. I would think that the Jet trooper would be most useful on Kamino. All those landing pads might be hard to navigate around on foot. On the movie, I saw that Kamino was more an aerial combat map. The jetpack would really help.

I agree that a jetpacktrooper in kamino could be usefull. There is not much cover on those platforms, and jetpacktroopers can get from vantage point to vantage point fast.

If your pinned down from droid gunfire and your shotgun just cant get you out, just zip away, or jet up to a sniper cove and lay waste To those below. when I say sniper cove, by the way, I mean one of those high off places that is hard to spot to eyes below That sharpshooters usually fly up to in starships.
