MeowTown
I heard there was a way to make a rocky cliff wall by using a certain shader that smooths out the protudences from the cliff, making it look good. If it exists, where is it and how do i use it?

Mercenary
Here's a tutorial: http://www.planetquake.com/simland/pages/articles/phongshading1.htm A lot of rock textures in JA already have the right shader for it. In Radiant, hold down the shift key and click a texture in the texture window and it'll bring up a shader file and you can look through it to see what code is used for that particular shader. lukeskywalker1
Yeah, things like rock_phong are supposed to be good for what you want. Supposed to be, I don't really notice any difference.
wedge2211
Depends on the shadeangle you use.
