Jase_Morden Posted September 4, 2004 Share Posted September 4, 2004 Hey, I haven't been on the JediKnight forums for a while, so I might be a little rusty on my RPing, anyway, let's see how this goes; GTA Coruscant. For those who don't know (but most probably do) GTA stands for Grand Theft Auto, and I'm sorta basing this off those games, except that it's set on Coruscant; the city planet. So, anyone interested? You can take on the roles of criminals, Jedi, Dark Jedi, Mercs, Rebels, Imperials, and pretty much any other rank in the SW universe, just nothing too powerful, you have to work your way up. Now, GTA obviously means there'll be some carjacking involved in this, well, more like speeder-jacking, lol, meaning we'll be able to steal speeders and the like. Just make sure it's an NPC or one of your own characters you're stealing it from. You can also obtain weapons, items, money, etc. from NPCs as well, for money though, you may need to take on certain missions from an NPC to receive money as a reward. Some rules: 1: Don't take other RPer's speeders, etc. 2: No godmoding 3: No swearing 4: Don't kill other players, without their permission 5: Don't go saying stuff like "I have unlimited ammo!" or "I made 3,000,000,000 credits on that mission!" ok, that sort of thing is just pathetic. Also, if you're a gangster, you can make up the name of a gang to be a part of, like in my profile: Name: Ramos Kalinair (Kale-en-air) Age: 19 Born: Coruscant Lives: Malinos Apartment Complex Species: Zabrak Gender: Male Rank: Gangster/Malinos Crime Family/Dark Jedi Equipped with: Lightsaber Sais, E-11 Blaster Rifle. Starting cash: 300 credits Preferred Transportation: Speeder Bike Bio: Born into a life of crime, Ramos decided it was useless to try and resist the Malinos' attempts to make him one of them, after 14 hard years, Ramos is now feared by rival gangsters, making him a very powerful adversary. Ramos has also studied and practiced Martial Arts (yes, in the Star Wars universe!) at the Temple of the Dragon in the mountains of Endor, turning him into a rock solid Martial Artist. Try to make your profiles similar to mine, you can add extra info if you want, just try not to make it too complex. -------------------------------------------------- Ramos awoke that morning and got dressed, he opened the curtains and pulled his Lightsabers and his blaster from the drawer. He walked outside the bedroom and into the kitchen to get some breakfast, he heard a knock at the door, he made a hand gesture and the door unlocked itself and opened, a postal droid walked through the door and placed a package on the couch, then left the apartment, closing the door behind it. Ramos stopped eating his breakfast and immediately moved towards the package, it was wrapped in a sort of chromish paper, the paper kept changing from a lighter chrome to a darker one, Ramos knew what kind of package this was, he walked to the kitchen window and held it out over the windowsill, "Stupid wannabe gangsters, they'll never learn," he said, dropping the package and then hearing a loud explosion about 5 seconds afterwards. Some time later, Ramos was wandering around, looking at the speeders fly by, and suddenly, Ramos just jumped right out onto oncoming traffic, landing in a speeder with no roof, "Nice catch, my friend," Ramos told the driver. The dark jedi helped him get revenge on the pirates, but he saw that the jedi meant to take over the galaxy and quit, ran to corusant, changed his name and began gaining fame among the criminal empire for his skills. He kept moving between families until finally staying permanently with the Habos family. ------ Vic woke up. He went to the kitchen and served himself breakfast. There was a knock on the door, Vic opened it, grabbed trhe package out of the droids hands and automatically threw it out the window. He shut the door again. Suddenly a loud explosion was heard outside, he sensed some people die, and heard speeders crash into the buildings and each other. He looked outside, saw his speeder destroyed and grimaced, this was gonna be on the news all day. He grabbed some stolen military rations and opened a door. In there was a dark room with a man tied to a chair, Vic threw the opened rations package onto the man's lap, and the man hungrily ate. He checked his messages on his scrambled datapad. Negotiations duty today. Supposed to meet some guy from the Malinos family to negotiate a step up from truce to alliance. He hated that duty, boring as hell, but he had a feeling today would be better. He went out and jumped into a speeder, threw the guy out safely on the sidewalk, and sped off. In the age of 10, he learned everything he would need, close combat, shooting and driving. Now he has climbed to his brothers side. Onto the right hand's position. He still makes his own business, dreaming of his own criminal gang someday, delivering drugs, weapons and things like that. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Gigi drove his speeder at full speed throught a small alleyway with two Republic guard speeders after him. He uses all the power the speeder has, but then figures out how to shake them off. He heads for the lower levels. He soon finds himself shooting a pipe that explodes just behind him and takes one of the speeders with it. Gigi drives his speeder into a dark alleyway as the last speeder speeds past him. He soon just drives around the lower level, noticing the rival gang members, waving their fists at him. Gigi sighs and shakes his head a bit before putting some more speed to it, soon landing next to the casino of the Malinos crime family. Ramos walked towards a large staircase and saw the two heavy bounced droids at the entrance to it. "Identification" the droid on the left said monotonously. "Kalinair, Ramos," he told the droid. "Proof of identification needed" the droid on the right told him. "Fine, I'll be right back," Ramos said to them, and he walked off into the men's room, he found a vent on the ceiling, which was pretty high up, he jumped and found himself walking upside-down on the roof, he opened the vent, climbed in and then closed it. Starting cash: 500 credits Preferred Transportation: Fast Speeders. Bio: Booya was Reelo Baruk's brother, and he helped greatly in setting up their crime syndicate. Booya mostly worked on the field, and Reelo coordinated. While Booya was out on a mission, Reelo was killed by a Jedi named Kyle Katarn. Booya then moved to Coruscant, and though he only just arrived, he won't have much trouble setting up a gang since he's pretty well known amongst the underworld. He hates force-users and Jedi in particular. I have guessed the time right, haven't I? He said to the barkeeper. 'Anybody offering a job 'round here?' He asked after finishing his drink. 'Don't know what ye'r talkin' about.' the Barkeeper answered. 'These fifty credits say otherwise.' Booya said, while he handed the Barkeeper the money. 'Hmm. Alright. This casino here is owned by the Malinos. I believe they can always use another employee. What're your skills?' 'The name's Booya Baruk. You might have heard of me before. I'm the brother of the famous crimelord Reelo Baruk. I'm a skilled sniper. that enough?' 'I guess so. I'll give the boss a call...' He walked down the hall, straightening his suit up as he walked and came to a desk with a young, blonde human female typing on a computer behind it, "Hey, Ramos," she said to him, "He's in his office,". If you have a Datapad i'll download it to it for you.' Booya handed over his datapad and the Barkeeper downloaded the mission data. Booya went out of the casino and read the instructions: 'There's a speeder on a landing pad a few blocks away from here. It's marked on your map. steal that speeder and bring it back here.' He sighed and shook his head as he stopped the rodian just infront of the door. "Hope you ain't thinking of working for the Milanos" Gigi said and then walked to the bartender. "Your boss hasn't delivered our credits" he said in a cold tone and looked at the bartender that looked amazed. "I donät know what you're talking about" the bartender said and Gigi sighed. He took a small neclace under his shirt. It was the Sametrumma familys symbol. "I'll call boss right away" the bartender said and went straight to call the boss. A few mercs were guarding a speeder van. looked like they just finished loading somehting into it. Booya attempted to sneak closer, but suddenly, the speeder took off. 'Krolp!' he cursed in Huttese. He ran past the mercs at top speed, Blaster Bolts flying all around him, and jumped off the ledge. He landed on the speeder's roof and it flew away, leaving the mercs behind... Vic and the contact had to meet on neutral ground, so naturally they met in an alley next to the Senate building. They bribed guards so all the cameras would be off and went in. "So you know why I'm here?" Asked Vic. "You want to elevate the truce to an alliance" "Yeah." "Well, first we need to see if you are worthy of that" "I don't have to prove a thing. But I have my orders." "Good. First test is a test of skill. You are a middleman, so if we test you we should get a meter with which to measure your employer's skill. Your mission is to infiltrate the Malinos casino and speak to this man" He showed him a holo of Ramos. "All guards have been ordered to shoot you on sight." "I get the feeling not all of them will use stun." "No, some of them, I'm afraid, are quite trigger-happy." "And if I do this?" "We will consider your offer." "Good." He quickly grabbed his trusty DL-44 blaster pistol and aimed for the front windshield of the speeder. he fired two shots. The windshield shattered and the shards were thrust into the pilot because of the speed they were flying at. The speeder was out now out of control, and headed straight for a building. Booya quickly pulled himself forward and jumped behind the controls. He barely evaded the flat and hit a bus. (Just in case you were wondering, they DO have bus-like speeders on Coruscant.) Katie woke up to her alarm and went outside to her balcony, she looked over the edge, then walked back inside, thne turned around and took a running leap form the balcony landing on a noble's speeder, she got in through the window and punched the driver and threw both the driver and the noble out then went on driving, she stopped at a cantina and went inside and bought herself a drink. His speeder had scattered the glass and had crashed into the far wall, against the door controls. They were completely busted. 'Great.' Booya thought. 'Just great.' then, he noticed what his speeder was holding: Det packs. the crash had ripped open the hull and some of them fell out. Appearantly, it belonged to a smuggling ring, probably one of the reasons Don Malinos wanted it. he attached the Det Pack to the door and set it on the timer... He grabbed a pipe on the roof he was on, and headed toward the casino. He lured the guards away from the front door into an alley and a fight begun. He knocked one of the guards out outright, then he quickly avoided the other one's stun blast, he hit the other one on the legs to take him down, then also knocked him out. "ok" Katie decided to play along, she drove with them, she parked at the designated space, as soon as she got out, she shot both the escort drivers, she walked into the building infront of her. Jase_Morden Posted September 6, 2004 Author Share Posted September 6, 2004 The Rodian threw a front-kick at Ramos, who grabbed his leg and punched the Rodian to the stomach, the Rodian grabbed his hand, and swung it away, pushing Ramos towards a wall, the Rodian ran towards him, but Ramos simply jumped to the roof, clinging onto it, he then jumped down onto the floor behind the Rodian, but when he turned around, Ramos had already won, his fist was merely an inch away from the Rodian's face, Ramos lowered his hand, the Rodian bowed in thanks for the duel and left the room. "Well, that's enough proof for me," said the Don. "So, you wanted to see me, Don Malinos?" "I have a job for you, Ramos," the Don swung his chair around, revealing a face that was half-flesh, half skeletal-looking metal, "The man who did this to me, he is indeed dead, but he has a son, one who is bent on killing me," "Go on," "This is an assassination contract, my friend. I want you to find out where he is, take out anyone involved and then kill him, understand?" the Don told him. "I'm on it," Ramos replied. He left the room and saw the Rodian named Jarenor leaning against the wall. Ramos headed down to the streets and decided not to contact his driver, instead he waited for a random speeder to fly by and he jumped at it, landing on it, he once again did his ghost-phase thing and entered the car, he knocked the driver of the car out and put him in the back, then Ramos took the wheel and sped off. Booya could see the same logo on Gigi's and the transport speeders side. Gigi still aimed at Booya and ten let out a sight. "I said, you shouldn't even think to working for the Malinos family" Gigi said and watched Booya like a hawk. "What's your name, rodian" he said as two smaller transport speeders landed next to the one Booya was driving and loaded them up from the det packs. The two Sumatrumma crime family transport speeders went off to a large tower only a couple of blocks away. Gigi now jumped off from his speeder. "You can call me Gigi Sametrumma..." he said and rolled his blaster on his finger and holstered it. He let out a small grin that looked more like a smile. "Thank you for you cooperation" he said and jumped back into his speeder. He threw a holopod to Booya. "Deliver that holopod to the Milanos. Do not look at it" Gigi said and then speeded off. He proceded into the casino and walked to the bar. ' Anythin' i can do for ya?' the barkeeper asked. 'Well, yes.' Booya answered. 'Oh, i know you!' the barkeeper said. 'you're the rookie. Mission failed i guess?' 'Well, you could put it that way. Anyway, on the way back i met someone named Sametrumma. Gigi Sametrumma. Told me to deliver this to Malinos.' He put the Holopod on the bar. 'It's probably a trap' the barkeeper said. 'The Sametrumma's and the Malinos don't exactly get along, if ya catch ma grip.' 'Thanks for the info.' Booya answered. Curt-Man Posted September 7, 2004 Share Posted September 7, 2004 Katie walked into the building and shot the one guard that was there, with dead eye accuracy, katie then walked down the main hallway shooting any one who appossed her, she got to a locked door, she skillfully picked the lock thenwent inside, tosee about 5 guys withbig guns, she ran and dived shooting all the while, she landed behind a counter, the guys took cover as well, she poped up and shot one guy in the left arm,the stomach then she hit hisface, she had to duck quickly, a bolt just missed her head and blew a smallcrater in the wall, she rolled out shot at the other 4 four then jumped over a table and pumped one guyfull of blaster shots. she landed where she killed the first guy, she took his rifle, waited for the shots to stop, the she stood up and shot 3 shots at where one guy was and blew apart his cover, she then hit tim with one more shot. she ducked but got hit in the leg, she was fine, but she would limp fora while, she ran at the other 2 then threw her empty rifle at one guy and roundhouse kicked the guy in the head, breaking his neck she held a blaster to the last guys head. Jase_Morden Posted September 8, 2004 Author Share Posted September 8, 2004 Ramos found the hideout with ease, with his Force sensing powers, of course, he used his sight powers to see straight through the wall, the main office of his target was very large, and had no windows, but plenty of doors, all blast-locked, the only way he was getting in was his ghost-phase power. Then, his target left the office, now was his chance, he could phase through the wall and hide in the office, he tried to walk through the wall, but he smacked his face into solid concrete, "Damn it! Lead casing!" he shouted, "This guy is more clever than he looks," Ramos said to himself, and began to work on a plan to assassinate the man.
