Ads Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 is there away i can make my own... fate of atlantis monkey island maps? levels?
Thrik Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 For the games themselves? No. You can always create maps based on Monkey Island for other games though, such as Half-Life. They all have their own editors.
James Isaac Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Or you could use something like AGS or SLUDGE, and use the MI sprites, and add your own scenes.
Joshi Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I'm not too sure if you could make extensions for the games (LA wouldn't be too happy, they're not too fond of fan games, let alone alterations to their own games) considering, you'd have to creat all new puzzels and stories and so on. That may as well just be a fan game.

James Isaac Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 AGS is the easiest option for people who have never programmed before: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/ SLUDGE is more powerful, but harder to learn: http://www.hungrysoftware.com/ You probably saw Indiana Jones and the Fountain of Youth, which is a fan game probably being made with an engine like AGS or SLUDGE.
