O.K., let's see!! Textures are fine. Server stuff needs to be fixed. Same with the aircraft stuff. As for framerate, you can change that in the menu...or in the .ini file...or something, to 80. I dunno, I haven't played it yet (except the XBOX Demo). Everything else would be nice, except harder AI and no gloss-over graphics. I think the gloss-over looks cool. The AI is already quite good. Voice chat isn't a big deal to me. Even if it was supported...I wouldn't use it. Oh, and go to the Stickied thread about official help for SWBF. There is a thread that the SWBF team put out, which gives answers and help!! The PC Dedicated Server Patch is out also, on Lucas Files.

i feel that while battlefront is a good game all around (note i have the pc version if that wasnt obivous) i still think that there are huge issues.... like the fact the server list doesnt seem to update the players but once every 5 or so minutes and the fact that the fps is locked so low... i mean my computer is in no way an Area 51 but i should still be able to get above 30 fps with my FX 5900 on this thing... and what ever makes the textures look like im staring into an oven with all the heat wave effects... kinda annoys me... but over all the game has amazing potential

ok , almost all of the above is essential if this game wants to succeed!

the only things that dont really matter too much are the graphics, ai and voice chat.

1. improved textures we could do with, but ultimately this wont effect gameplay.

2. same with no glossy look over the graphics, which the pc version doesnt suffer from as much as the ps2 version or xbox.

3. voice chat would be cool but id imagine how much it would make htings unstable considering how badly things are at the moment.

4. and as for improved AI? well you cant really make bots too smart in such an open battlefield like environment, and when it comes down to it, we would all rather be shooting each other than bots, so who really cares about making bots smarter unless your internet dont work.

5. making the maps bigger and the flags further apart is a favoured preference but not sure if it can be implemented in such short notice or in a patch. plus if they wanted the game to be bigger they couldve made it bigger so this might be the size we are stuck with so enjoy it.

fix the server stuff, aircraft and framerate issues in the next patch or you will lose alot of people, period.

i think also the accuracy while prone and running should be different. i mean, come on!!!

plus being able to see your score and the enemy score during the game would be nice, i mean, every other multiplayer pc game has this funtion. why does starwars battlefront feel years behind the other new games?

plus imo i think the units and weapons need to be overhauled. and the whole physics engine revamped.

like alot of people have said, if it wasnt for the fact this game was starwars, it would be as popular as the game "Breed"

Don't forget the most important fix as an option:

* Scrap the current POS game and start from scratch creating an engine (or liscense one) that was developed this cetury so the end game doesn't look like a MOD made by to friggin college students.

and:

* Patch the game with a game that is not just a rework of a friggin console game ported to just work on a PC.

I think the biggest flaw is the multiplayer interface.

I would have thought they would have taken what the battlefield 1942 and vietnam series did and enhanced it. No filters to sort...come on! No map column. Ugh!!

The other problem is where's the mod tools? How can the game community continue on like the half-life & battlefield series without mod tools. Still I understand when it comes to games that release on all platforms.

maybe they will learn in future to first make the game on pc. then port it over to consoles. i have never seen a good port from console to pc. ever. even halo pc was a completely re coded version for the pc from the ground up. the more i play this game the more i notice, like u cant zoom in and out on the minimap. and you cant pick up enemy weapons. is there even an option to chat to teammates on the pc version?

How about "balance issues" ie. balance the different classes in each faction. There needs to be more audio cues like "our node is under assault" and things of that nature. Knowing that we've lost the node after the fact is not helpful.

Multiplayer, server browser, admin controls, etc. are all the most important.
